An Introduction to Business Communication

Today we will discuss how to communicate clearly, appropriately, and effectively for a
given context using verbal and non-verbal means.
* We will look at how to use oral/written language appropriately, taking
audience, purpose, and context into account.
* We will look at how to demonstrate good language skills, applying correct
use of grammar and syntax to communicate information clearly and effectively
within each format.
To do this, we will look at some basic theory and then apply these
concepts to various activities, including, editing an email, conducting
group discussions and completing some language quizzes.
