(All of the pupils will smile)
everyone! Always remember that we should start our day

“Yes, teacher.”
short video. Listen carefully because it is related to our
lesson for today. Okay?”

“What does the video all about?” “It’s about the weather.”

“Okay, very good! it is all about the weather.”

“Now, can you look outside your window and describe the
weather that you can see.”
“There’s no sun. It’s raining”
(The teacher will call some pupils to answer)

“Is there a sun or is there a rain in your place. What do “It is Rainy day”
you think is the weather for today?”

“Very good, everyone!”

C. Presentation

“So, our lesson for today is about the different kinds of

weather here in the Philippines. Let’s get started! Are you
ready?”

“Okay, to start, let us first define what is the weather?

weather is what the sky and the air outside are like,

such as sunny, rainy, windy, stormy, and cloudy.”

“The following are the different kinds of weather here in the
Philippines. We have a sunny, rainy, stormy, cloudy, and
“Butterfly”
windy weather.”

“First let us study the sunny weather. On a sunny day, the sun
shines brightly on this day. The sky is blue and the clouds are
few. Things around you look dry and it feels hot.”

“On a sunny day, we can see outside the sun that shines so “A snake”
brightly. We can feel hot when we are outside.”

“Not yet, teacher.”

“Here are some examples of the activities that we can do on a

sunny day.”

“In the first picture, what can you see? what have you
noticed?”

“It is a Horse.”
(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“Okay, the children are playing outside. On a sunny day,

children like you can play outside. But we need to be careful
because there is still a virus so we should limit the time when
we are going outside.”

“What games do you usually play outside on a sunny day?”

(The teacher will call some pupils to answer)

“Very good, everyone! But always remember that you need to

be careful when you are playing outside because there’s a lot
of danger when you are outside. Okay?”

“Yes”

“In the other picture, what can you see? What is the boy
wearing?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“Okay, he is wearing a sunglass. On a sunny day, you
can wear sunglass, it helps to protect your eyes from
the sun. Have you tried to look directly at the sun?”

“It is painful for our eyes if we are looking directly at

the sun, so do not do that okay? it will be bad for
your eyes.”

“Next picture, what can you see? what are they

wearing?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer) “Yes, teacher”

“Very good! they are wearing thin clothes. Wearing

these clothes can help you to ease the hot feeling and
you will be more comfortable wearing these clothes.”

“Next picture, what can you see? Can you describe

the picture?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“Okay, the girl under the sun is using an umbrella. It (The pupil will try to imitate the
is important to use an umbrella when we are outside, sound of a dog)
especially on a sunny day because it will cover and
protect our skin from direct exposure to the sun.”

“Next, on a sunny day, we can go swimming. Do you

like to swim?” “Yes, on a farm”
“Yes, teacher”

“Okay, most people, especially children like to enjoy

swimming on a sunny day.”

“And the last example that we have is we can dry

clothes on a sunny day. These are some examples of
the activities that we can do on a sunny day.”

“Okay, so that is for the sunny weather.” (The pupil will try to imitate the
sound of a dog)
“Next, we have the rainy weather or a rainy day. On
this day, the air is cool. Rain falls continuously from
the sky. Everything outside gets wet and it is cold.

“On a rainy day, we should stay inside our house

because we might catch a cold or we might be sick if
we get wet in a rain.”

“Who among you has tried to take a bath in the rain?”

(The teacher will call some pupils to answer)

“It is okay sometimes to take a shower in the rain but

we need to be careful and we should not do it
always.”

“Look at the next picture, if you are caught in the rain (The pupil will try to imitate the
outside you should stay under the shed so that you sound of a dog)
will not get wet and be sick.”

“Next, we should wear thick clothes. What are some

examples of thick clothes? Can you give one
example?”

(The teacher will call some pupils to answer)

“Very good, everyone. All of your answers are

correct. Thick clothes can help us to feel warm,
especially on a rainy day that is cold weather.”

“Next, we should wear boots to keep our feet dry.”

“We should also use an umbrella and raincoat to keep

us dry.”

“So that is for the rainy weather.”

“Next weather is a windy weather or a windy day. A

day can be windy. The air moves fast. The wind
blows strongly, but no rain.”
"On a windy day,you can fly kites. Do you know
what is a kite? It is made of plastic and sticks that we
can fly up in the sky."
(The pupil will try to imitate the
sound of a dog)
"In order for you to fly a kite, you need wind. It will
help you to fly your kite high."

"Have you already seen a kite? Have you played it?"

"Ohh not yet, it's okay, you can try it next time."

"Next weather that we have is stormy weather. On a

stormy day, the wind is very strong. The air is very
cold. There is thunder, lightning, and heavy rains. A
thunder is a loud rumbling noise that we can hear in
the sky. Have you heard thunder? It is loud, right?" “Yes”

"On a stormy day, there is a huge possibility of

flooded streets since it causes heavy rains that is why
we need to stay inside our house because it is
dangerous outside if the weather is stormy. Do you
understand?"

"Very good, Kindergarten - Love."

"And for the last weather, we have cloudy weather.

On a cloudy day we cannot see the sun. The sky and
sun are covered by clouds. Since the clouds are
covering the sun, it is not too hot outside. If we look
in the sky, we can see a lot of clouds."
“Yes, teacher”

"Do you understand our lesson for today?"

"Again we discussed five weathers, can you name

one?
(The teacher will call some pupils to answer) (Some pupils will give another
example of land animals)

"Good job, everyone. All of you are great. You

listened carefully to our lesson, very good!"

"Do you have any questions in our topic for today?"

D. Generalization

“Always remember that weather is what the sky and

the air outside are like. We have different kinds of
weather such as: sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, and
stormy.”

E. Application

“For me to know if you really understand our lesson,

let us practice. Let us answer the following. You can
type your answers in the chatbox. Do you
understand?” (Some pupils will give another
example of water animals)

“All you have to do is to identify what weather is

shown in the picture.”

“What do you think is the weather shown in this

picture? Is it a sunny, rainy, cloudy, stormy, or windy
day?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“Very good! It is stormy weather.”

“Next, we have this picture.”

“What weather is shown?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“Okay, it is a sunny day. As you can see in the

picture, the woman is feeling hot.”

“Next picture is this. What weather do you think is

this?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“All right, the answer is rainy weather.”

“Next one we have a boy playing his kite. What

weather is suitable to play our kite?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“The answer is, windy. We can fly our kite if the

weather is windy. It helps the kite to fly high.”

“Next picture, we have this one. Look at the picture it

is surrounded by clouds. What do you think is this?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“Very good! it is a cloudy day.”

“And for the last picture, we have this one.”

“Look at the picture, what do you think is the
weather?”

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)

“Good job! it is windy weather.”

“Very good, everyone! All of you are great, because

of that, I will give you three stars. Now we will have
your break. See you in 5 minutes. You can rest your
eyes for a while, you can eat and drink. After your
