 To understand social sensitivity and learn CSR, Ethical and Sustainable

Learning  Define the different concepts, environmental aspects, social sensitivity,
Outcomes environmental ethics & dilemmas, behavioral science, sustainability

 Explain different CSR & Nudge theories to ensure pro-environmental
behavior and demonstrate a multi stake holder perspective in viewing CSR,
environment, social, ethical and sustainable issues, etc. (CLO2)
 Apply the different models, theories, approaches and cases that influence our
sensitivity to environmental, ethical, behavioral economics, social context &
CSR and its impact on businesses & society at large. (CLO3)
 Analyze the different reports, cases, relating to environment, social
entrepreneurship, environmental ethics, behavioral economics & CSR, and
various national and global initiatives related to environmental management
& CSR. (CLO4)
 Evaluate the level of commitment of different organizations to
environmental friendly, s ustainable business strategies & CSR and
ethical, behavioral and social responsibilities in attaining social,
environmental issues & show its competitive advantages. (CLO5)

Course The course intends to provide orientation to students on Ethics and ethical
Description aspects in business, which each one needs to be aware of. The course will provide
exposure to students on the ethical dilemmas which occur in professional,
business and personal life. It would also show how to deal effectively with such
situations. The Course intends to provide knowledge to students on the solutions
which are available to management professionals, in terms of companies &
individuals being sensitive to the environmental and social problems. At the
same time, it also seeks to make them sensitive to such problems and seek
proactively for solutions to the environmental problems without losing focus
on doing business.
