Performance Task

Instructions: Re-enact a five-minute presentation of your favorite scene from an English movie, TV series, or
musical or non-musical stage play. The chosen scene should show how one or more barriers to
communication lead to a communication breakdown. The re-enactment should be video recorded and shall
be presented to the whole class.

In creating your video, please observe the following:


 Present first the movie scene re-enacted.
 Final videos should be at least 5 minutes long.
 Your video must have an intro.
 Prioritize recording high-quality audio. The further the microphone is from your presenter, the
worse your audio quality will be. Recording indoor in quiet spaces or adding a voice-over track are
the best options for capturing high-quality audio.

 Produce a video that is visually engaging to your audience.


 Be creative. Include all necessary elements in making your video engaging.
