It all started as a small garment manufacturing unit in Tejgaon, the industrial part of Dhaka.
Incorporated in 1984, Posh Garments has been engaged in manufacturing & exporting apparel
primarily to Europe. Specializing in value added fashion products, the current product range
includes ladies blouse & tops, basic skirts, dress, uniforms and men’s casual wear shirts. Though
relatively small compared to contemporary manufacturer in Bangladesh, Posh Garments has a
highly skilled work force, experienced staff and more than 30 years of expertise in apparel
manufacturing. It’s focus is on quality, on time delivery and commitment towards maintaining a safe
workplace for its employees.
Vision: Posh Garments vision is to be the leading and most admired garment company in
Bangladesh, known for innovation, quality, and ethical practices in the fashion industry.
Posh Garments is obviously one of Bangladesh’s greatest dress manufacturers, with its
dedication to ecology, transparency, on-time distribution, and high-quality items.

Posh Garments is an IS 9001 certified company accredited by BSCI, SEDEX, GOTS and
ACCORD. They are fully committed towards maintaining a safe working environment for their
employees. It’s core functions are based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). They strive
continuously to reduce wastage of materials and increase production efficiency. They ensure
product safety, zero discharge of any chemicals and recycling of all waste raw materials – fabric,
paper, plastic, metal, etc. Meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is of utmost
importance for Posh Garments. It not only ensures Posh Garment’s long-term viability and
competitiveness but also promotes sustainable and ethical practices. Posh garments is also
committed to providing trendy, high-quality garments that exceed customer expectations, while
maintaining a sustainable and socially responsible approach throughout its operations.

Posh Garments is such a garment manufacturer in Bangladesh which can manufacture a wide
range of products. The core products of Posh Garments are ladies blouses,
tops, dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, loungewear, nightwear, or sleepwear. We also manufacture girls'
dresses, tops, and skirts.
For men and boys, we manufacture casual wear shirts, boxers and boxer shorts, swim shorts, and
sleepwear. Hotel, school uniforms, and hospital uniforms are niche products that we manufacture
and export to many countries.
Methodology:
Descriptive research was conducted to identify different dimension of compliance quantitative in
ready management practices in readymade garments industry in Bangladesh. As result of
researchers were prevented from visiting the factory. For this reason, we have ignored the direct
data collection and surveys. Consequently the research techniques, has relied on secondary data,
collected through case studies, research articles, thesis paper, newspaper, online news and survey
reports, manufacturing industries annual reports, BGMEA yearly reports and files. The data was
collected through a number of techniques. Posh garments was incorporated as an apparel
manufacturer and an exporter in the year 1984. 80% of workers in posh garments are women.
These women are empowered and contribute vastly to the socio-economic development of
Bangladesh. Posh garments used operation management for design of product, quality
management, process capacity design, supply chain management, inventory management,
strategies for reducing high product cost. Posh garments used management information system
for E-Commerce, Marketing , privacy, globalization etc.

Posh Garments was incorporated as a n apparel manufacturer and an exporter in the year 1984.In
the early days, it was a small factory having 60 sewing machines. After operating for 37 years we
have now grown to a fully compliant apparel manufacturer with 14 sewing lines.
We have the management expertise, a flexible production platform, a highly skilled workforce,
and experienced staff to churn out millions of pieces of garments and export them all over the
world. After conducting a quantitative assessment of posh garments and import activities, the
following conclusions can be drawn:
1. Quality of Posh Garments: The quantitative assessment helps determine the quality of posh
garments being offered. By analyzing factors such as craftsmanship, materials used, and overall
product durability, we can assess the level of excellence in posh garments. This evaluation is
crucial in understanding the market competitiveness of such garments.

5. Import Activists: In the context of import activities, it is essential to assess the role of import
activists. Quantitative analysis can provide information about the volume and impact of import
activists on the posh garment industry. By examining data on trade policies, tariffs, and
regulations, we can understand the influence of import activists and their implications for the
market.
So, overall, a quantitative assessment of posh garments and import activities helps us draw
conclusions regarding the quality, consumer perception, market demand, competitor landscape,
