JOB SUMMARY
NATURE OF WORKS:
Routine checkup all parameters
Monitoring all transfer pumps
Monitors all oil and gas well head parameters
Control the plant chemical injection rate.
Knowledge of DCS operation
Preparing of plant operating reports as requested by production supervisor
PSV checklist and Dead leg sheet verification.
PREVIOUS CONCERN EXPERIENCE:
Operates control panel to regulate temperature, pressure, rate of flow, and tank
level in processing, according to process schedules: Observes instruments and
meters to verify specified conditions and records readings.
Moves and adjusts dials, switches, valves, and levers on control panel to regulate
and coordinate process variables, such as flows, temperatures, pressures, time.
Reports malfunctioning equipment.
Records results of laboratory analyses.
Safety of the plant and personnel and maintaining reliable operation, in startup,
shutdown and emergency procedures.
Monitoring the unit operating conditions and parameters including product quality
and make adjustments to maintain product quality, yields and production rates.
DCS system along with many other supporting systems like vibration monitoring,
compressor control, I will report any upset to shift supervisor and concerned
people.
Perform trouble shooting and problem solving during equipment or unit failure and
performs start-up and shut down of the equipment/unit safely.
Provides direction to the Operators.
Takes responsibility of Supervising Operator during his absence.
Provides training to new operators in the unit.
Be able to work as operator of the plant, if required.
Identify operational hazards and resolve them as necessary.
Troubleshoot any arising problems and come up with reasonable resolutions.
Good English language skills where I want communicates well with all concern
people.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Checking and operation of well x mas tree valves, Choke Valves.
Check functional leak test of, SSV, master valves, wing valve, and swab valve.
Having experience of self-flowing wells, water injection wells, and artificial lifting
wells.
Pig Launching & Receiving, Well Annulus Pressure Bleeding. Regular well head
checks
Three monthly, six monthly preventive maintenance
Chemical Skid Such Chemical Injection, H2S scavenger, De-Emulsifier injection.
Control Valve Stroke test.
Well Handover, Sick line CTU, Work Over, Well Completion, Well Integrity
Checks. Oil Sampling Checked process parameters and taken correct measures in
crude oil separation in abnormal condition by LP separator, test separator, HP
separator, Vapor recovery unit, Gas sweetening unit, Gas dehydration Unit, Crude
oil exporting, Water injection etc.
Assist with the shutdown and startup of process equipment and relevant utilities.
Execute Field Production Operations activities according to schedule / plan.
Ensure that all production assets are operated in a safe and efficient manner, in line
with agreed plant operating philosophies, and in line with current Production
Procedures and practices.
Log all relevant data relating to the production of Hydrocarbons - for entry into the
Production Management System
Take immediate corrective action to limited risk in plant equipment, Personnel and
production during emergency situation.
Maintain detailed events and fault log books
Identify any fault and inform the concerned departments for remedial action.
Reports immediately to supervisor any fault, breakdown of equipment or
machinery.
Safe work permit system and job hazard analysis.
Preparation of standard operation procedure and follow-up
Co-ordination with panel operator, shift engineers, shift-in charge, support services
and other relevant department.
Monitor tank parameters like level, temperature, pressure, flow etc. and maintain of
sheets-checklists
Equipment’s positive isolation, venting and purging for maintenance activities.
Assist in the preparation, isolation & de-isolation of equipment during
maintenance interventions.
PROCESS/PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE:
Working knowledge on Separator System, HP separator, MP separator, LP
separator, stabilized crude pump operations, Flare knock out drum operations, and
Flare blow down pumps Operations. Heat exchangers, scrubbers, Pilot Ignition
Systems, Hot oil systems and Electrostatic De Hydrators.
Familiar with oil & gas processing, experience in operation of Natural Gas
dehydration. Well completion, Work-over, Choke manifold operations.
Operation and control of wells through different Headers for optimum production.
Oil Manifolds, Gas lift Manifolds, surge tanks separators (2/3phase), De-hydration
tanks, water disposal pumps, Chemical Injection, Gas and Oil line pigging
operations.
Operation Knowledge on Oil Transfer pump, Fuel gas scrubber, Flare stack, and
sump tank Operations, chemical inhibitors, strainers, line flushing and pig
launching.
Worked in Gas gathering Stations, Gas Compression Facilities, Gas Plant etc.,
Handled different types of Gas Compressor (Reciprocating and Centrifugal).
Gas plant Operations-Free-Water-Knock out Drums, Degassing Vessels, Glycol
Regeneration Unit.
Pigging operation: Successfully carried out pig Launching and receiving operation on
oil & gas flow line from Well Head & oil & gas export lines. Fully involved in
Bactericide & Corrosion inhibiter, Chemical dosing prior to, in between and after
launching the pig.
COMMISSIONING/START UP EXPERIENCE:
Preparing punch list with reference to P&ID
P&ID markup and making box file.
Making preservation and Standard Operation Procedure.
Conduct meeting for Safety and planning.
Making Checklist and verification data sheet for client.
Pre-checkup all equipment’s whether start commissioning.
Ensure cause and effects of all parameter equipment’s with respected valves.
Check the valve integrity.
Co-ordinate to the process team to lead the start and ramp up and ramp down the
process.
PQTR is carried out to the rotational equipment for 72hrs.
Executing Pre-commissioning & commissioning jobs like Air blowing, water
washing, steam blowing, Nitrogen inert zing, control valve stroke checking,
performance of rotary equipment’s, Gas in operation & leak checking, lineup all
instruments & follow up safe startup with respective procedure.
Testing, inspecting & operating systems & associated equipment, applying
commissioning procedure
Pre-startup reviews during the project stage.
UTILITIES:
Well experienced in utility operations of such as instrument air compressors, fuel
and blanket gas system, drain system, LP and HP flare and chemical injection unit.
HSE TRAININGS
Experience in firefighting and Plant safety Management, and, have exp in issuing
hot work permits, cold work permits, Vessel entry permits, Work at height permit.
Hand on experience in SCBA, Gas meters, LEL meters, H2S meters, Oxygen
meters and other safety apparatus.
Actively involved in emergency mock drills in Oil & Gas.
