II. SESSION OUTLINE
Session Title: Factors that Influence Disease Transmission
Session Identify factors that influence disease transmission.
Objectives:
Key Concepts: Enumerate and discuss factors that influence disease transmission.
III. TEACHING STRATEGIES

Friday routine (5 minutes) A HEALTY DANCE!
exercise/Dynamic Direction: The teacher plays the video while the students
stimulator imitate the movements.
Current Health News (5 minutes) NEWS ANALYSIS
Sharing Procedure: The teacher will let the students listen to a
health news from the ANC HD.
Health Sessions (30 minutes) LISTEN AND WATCH (Video Clip about
disease transmission)
Procedure:
1. Listen and watch a video clip about disease
transmission.
2. Analyze the video answer the following
question;
“What are the factors that influence disease
transmission?”
3. Let the student think and answer the question
individually on a ¼ sheet of paper.

GROUP ACTIVITY: What’s the difference?


Procedure:
1. Divide the class into 3 groups.
2. Let the students share among their groups the answer
to the question from the first activity.
3. Consolidate the answer of each member and create a
graphic organizer.
4. Write the answer on a manila paper.

 The teacher will provide a short discussion


about how different factors affect disease
transmission.

Reflection and Sharing (10 minutes) WRITING A JOURNAL


Students will write their experiences and learnings from
the lesson of the day by answering the questions today.
1. What did I feel in today’s Catch-Up Friday
lesson?
2. What did I understand about disease transmission?
3. How will these learnings help me as a student and as a
person?

Wrap Up (10 minutes) Provide students questions about their learnings today.
Question: “What did I learn today?”
