1. Understand the programming environment, and basic working of MATLAB.


2. Solve problems by using the programming construct, arrays and loops.
3. Analyze the data in visual plots using 2D and 3D.
4. Build the Applications on Polynomial and Interpolation Concepts

Starting with MATLAB: Starting Matlab, Matlab Windows, Working In The Command Window, Arithmetic
Operations With Scalars, Elementary Math Built-In Functions, The Assignment Operator, Script Files,
Creating A One-Dimensional Array (Vector), Two-Dimensional Array (Matrix), The Transpose Operator,
UNIT -2- (9 Hrs.)

Arrays: Array Addressing, Adding Deleting elements, Multiplying, Inverse, Determinants, Built-in functions,
working with Script Files: Input- Output commands, Save and Load Commands, Commands for Importing and
Exporting Data, Two-Dimensional Plots, plot fplot command, Formatting a Plot,
UNIT -3- (7 Hrs.)

2D Plots: Histograms, Programming basics, Relational And Logical Operators, Conditional Statements, Loops,
User-Defined Functions, Local And Global Variables, Saving A Function File,
UNIT -4- (8 Hrs.)

Three-Dimensional Plots: Line Plots, Mesh And Surface Plots, Plots With Special Graphics, The View
Command, Examples Of Matlab Applications, Problems
UNIT -5- (7 Hrs.)

Polynomials and Interpolation: Using A User-Defined Function , Examples Of Simple User-Defined Functions,
