Report of our School. The year 2023-2024 was marked with many
events and success stories. This can be attributed to the
dedication and team spirit of the staff, parents and students.

Dhuvaraga was evolved on march 5th, 2015 and received

recognition order by 2016 itself. Initially Dhuvaraga was a tiny
school with 3 admissions only. When it was located at Indira
Nagar. This new building was developed in the year 2020. With
the blessings of almighty and continuous support of parents, this
wouldn’t have been possible.

Before pandamic, dhuvaraga had a maximum strength of 59

students, During pandamic, dhuvaraga conducted online classes
and special day care for Doctors kids. Dhuvaraga even provided
home day care service during this outbreak.

By 2024, dhuvaraga has a strength of 20-30 students with 2

teaching and 2 non teaching staff.

Here are few glimpses of dhuvaraga during the academic year

Awards and recognition:

We love student contests and competitions. Because they can

provide an authentic learning purpose. In other words, they can
connect students’ interest to the real world. Dhuvaraga has pulled
together a list of amazing contests to engage every kind of student.

Dhuvaraga has won the over all championship trophy twice at

Velammal Bhodhi Campus. It has also won, over all
championship trophy for sports at Maharishi Vidhya Mandhir and
also has won lots of medals and certificates in culturals too.

Here I would like to appreciate our kids Mithun Sai, Aathava,

Yazhmozhi, Adhithya, Sam, Adhi dev, Pragadeesh, Chakresh &
Shivani who has won lots of competition this academic year.

Curriculum and teaching:

The kindergarden curriculam is child centred and follows thematic

activity based learning. Here learning experience is joyful and

successful. We believe that the listening, reading and writing skill

of the child would reach its highest potential in a friendly child
centric environment. Thus activities are designed to give, each
child varied experiences to mature physically, intellectually,
emotionally and socially at a rate that matches his or her unique
abilities and developmental progress.

Nursery:
Changes for children from spending time at home to begin
spending it at school with peers begins in our nursery. The little
kids learn to share and care for others, social and cognitive
development are wonderful.

Jr. Kindergarten:
The child is gradually changed from an informal to formal
classroom setting. They are encouraged to communicate more
vocally to express their thoughts in words.

Sr. kindergarten:
A more formal setting is introduced. Written communication and
basic arithmetic sense is introduced.

Activities: ( Special Activities)

We need to consider that, young children learn in quite different

ways. They learn by comparing physical experiences, by
interactions with other people and their own feelings. They learn
an enormous amount through their imagination. Play is what pulls
together the logical and creative parts of the brain. Theme based
activities are planned for the children of Nursery to Sr.
Kindergarten to enhance their understanding of the themes and
provide hands on experience.

Celebrations:

We at dhuvaraga, celebrate all the national and international

festivals like Independence Day, Teachers Day, Womens Day,
Childrens Day, Diwali, Pongal, Christmas, Aadi Perukku,
Vijayadasami, Birthdays of National and Patriotic Leaders. Along
with these various events are celebrated with a lot of vigour and
fun.

The teachers job is to help children change for better. The process
of teaching is a co operative endeavour. I wish to take this
opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all my staff members
with, whose co operation we have been able to carry our all
programmes and academic activities.

A special mention about our care takers who was with dhuvaraga
at all its ups and downs. Mrs. Maliga and Mrs. Nagalakshmi who is
with us from the day one. I would also like to express my grateful
thanks to all our higher authorities, parent community and students
whose whole hearted co operation has enabled us to complete all
our tasks successfully.

Last but not the least I conclude my Annual Report with a small
quote,
“ If you are planning for a year - sow rice;
if you are planning for a decade - plant trees;
if you are planning for a lifetime - educate people”

Thanks u, Thank u one and all.
