Call to Order:

• The meeting was called to order by Ms.diksha kaushal at 1:00pm.

• Welcome and appreciation extended to all teaching staff as well as CHC staff for their
presence.

Review of Previous Minutes:

• The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed.


Discussion Points

1. 1. Needle Stick Injury and Provision of PEP: The meeting commenced with a discussion
on a needle stick injury incident involving a student. The ICN representative briefed the
attendees on the incident and the subsequent steps taken. It was noted that the student
received appropriate post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) in coordination with the ICN. The
Chairperson emphasized the importance of adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the well-
being of all students and staff members.

2. Management of Increased Student Ratio due to Metro College Joining: The meeting
proceeded to address the recent influx of students from Metro College, resulting in an
increased student ratio. Concerns were raised regarding the equitable distribution of resources
and opportunities for all students amidst this change. After a thorough discussion, it was
decided to implement a morning and evening shift system to ensure that all students have
equal access to learning opportunities. The division into shifts will help manage class sizes
effectively and maintain quality education standards.

Next Meeting:

The next meeting is scheduled for 10th February 2024, during which we will review the progress of
the above action items and address any additional issues related to the clinical postings.
