OFFICE ORDER
No. 02-2023

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

WHEREAS, the Punong Barangay of Barangay Semirara went on Official Business and be out of her
territorial jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, Section 46 (a) of the RA 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991
states that “When the Governor, City or Municipal Mayor or Punong Barangay is temporarily
incapacitated to perform his duties for physical or legal reasons such as, but not limited to leave of
absence travel abroad, and suspension from office the vice governor, city or municipal vice mayor, or the
highest ranking Sangguniang Barangay member shall automatically exercise the powers and perform the
duties and functions of the local chief executive concerned, except the power to appoint, suspend, or
dismiss employees which can only exercise if the period of temporary incapacity exceeds thirty (30 )
working days.”

WHEREAS, with the presumption that the Punong Barangay as the Local Chief Executive, will not be in
his territorial jurisdiction and temporarily cannot perform his functions and duties;

NOW THEREFORE, I, __________________________, the next highest ranking Sangguniang


Barangay Kagawad, with the powers vested in me by the RA 7160, assume office as Acting Punong
Barangay starting February 15, 2023 to February 17, 2023 and have the right to assume the powers, duties
and functions of the said office subject to the limitations provided by law;

This order shall take effect immediately.

Done this 15th day of February, 2023.

starting April 11, 2023 to April 14, 2023 and have the right to assume the powers, duties and functions of
the said office subject to the limitations provided by law;

This order shall take effect immediately.

Done this 11th day of April, 2023.
