lets imagine that it is a sunday afternoon,you have no plans for evening and came

across video about cats that youtube recomended.before you go to


sleep you ask your mobile assistent for example siri to set an alarm at 8 am.you
wake up to go university and right before you head out, you check
your destination and google maps gives you the shortest rout. you might have
realized that all of theese softwares are using Artificial intelligence. we have
touch with it everyday but
what exactly is AI?

before i jump into our main subject i want to show you some general topics about AI

AI, or Artificial Intelligence, refers to the development of computer systems that


can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence.
as you might know human kind is becomeing lazier as the time goes ,thats why we
create machines to do our hard work.AI is no exeption,artificial
intelligence is capable of learning , reasoning ,problem solving and understanding
human language.these skills are generally human skills,
and nowdays Ai is so advanced that it can do many jobs even better that
humans,because
of that very important question arises,will AI replace us? is the world in danger?
personnaly i dont believe in that statment and i will try my best
to explain why i think so
to answer previous questions its crutial to better understand types of AI

there is 3 types of AI.


ANI is a type of AI designed to perform a single or a narrow set of related tasks
at a high level of
proficiency.AGI is more humanlike so it can self-teach and advance itself without
any direct human help.artificial superintelligence is a type of AI that
surpasses human capabilities.but today that type of ai doesnt exsit.so now that we
know that not every AI is same and have same skills lets talk about
risks and chellenges

one of the great example of ANI besides voice assistants and google map
algorithms,are chess bots,in late 90s the greatest
chess player that time gary kasparov playd AI called DEEP BLUE.shockingly kasparov
lost the match.at this point people were conserned about the
strength of AI.computer's win was seen as symbolic sign that artificial
intelligence was catching up to human intelligence,
and if it could defeat one of humanity's great intellectual champions like gary
kasparov what the future of mankind would look like?
from that point AI become better and better and eventually became better at humans
at certain skills.many people afther this match thought that
in the future chessbots will replace humans but very opposite happened.players
analized how AI thinks in game and they learned from it.after that
the chess as a game became more advanced and players became better and better.

despite this many people are scared of AI replacing proffesions,and somehow its
not totaly false.its considered that in future many jobs that are repetitive and
easily automated will be replaced by AI.
for example Manufacturing and Assembly Line Jobs,Transportation and Delivery
Jobs.however i dont belive that this is a bad thing.humans as species
have more talant then just laying bricks and driving huge trailers.with the help of
an AI people will do much more important things for improving
world than it is now. in the early days people would wash cloths with hand.there
were places where you could bring your clothes to wash.invention
of washing machine would make cloth-washers unemployd but these people would be
free to do anything much more important and enjoyable for them
rather then washing cloths

we talked about ANI and lets now talk about risks of artificial genneral
intelligance.to understand how it works lets take a look at this slide
this is how facial expresion recognition works.we give AI lots of pictures of human
expressions ,that are labeled by humans.AI goes through thousends
of thees pictures and learns what facial expresion is related to emotions.so if no
human initially labeled each of theese pictures AI wouldn't be able
to recognise anything.most of AGI softwares learn like this.so even though AI can
self-learn, learning process is till depended on human curated data.
that means that AI cant autonomusly exist without any help of a human.

in todays world there is a dangers of using AI as a weapon of mass destruction.Elon


musk is one of anti-AI people.in one of the interwiew he said that
by todays technologies anyone with understanding of AI, computer science and some
mechanical skills could buy a drone,attach weapon and add AI that detects
any spesific peroson and kills them.i dont disagree with elon about this point but
i also think that AI is not the main problem its us- humans.the world gives
us many tools and we as a species decide how will we use it. the earths gives us
oil, we can eaiter use it as a car fuel or we can put our neigbours house on fire,
you can use rock to make beautiful jewels or throw it to your neigbhour
any market you can buy a knife to cut bread or cut your neighbour,.so the point i
am trying to tell is that its not the ai its the humans you need to worry about.
if humans will act mature and careful AI will only bring good
