Professional Statement

As a highly competent forklift operator, I bring a diversity of experiences to any warehouse role. Having had a
number of opportunities to grow during the last three years with Opie Manufacturing, I have held positions as
a labourer and forklift operator, Team Leader for a 400-meter powder coating line, and currently, as a flatbed
machine operator. Loading large packs of steel via a counter balance forklift into the machine to keep it
running, is a significant part of my current role. During this time, I have gained valuable knowledge and a clear
understanding of warehouse operations and processes.

I bring the added value of having excellent administrative and computer skills, gained form my time at Penrith
City Council, where I also developed good networking and communication skills whilst engaging with groups
and organisations involved in the Council’s various projects.

With a passion embedded in mining for sapphire and gold in the great outdoors, I bring the traits of patience,
diligence, determination and a willingness to work hard into the workplace and into any task that I undertake.

Opie Manufacturing
Established in 1962, Opie Manufacturing Group (OMG) is an Australian sheet metal manufacturer, offering a
wide range of quality stainless steel products and services. Located in Emu Plains, New South Wales, the
Opie Manufacturing Group manufacturing and metal processing facility is an expansive, state-of-the-art facility
covering over 4,000 square metres.

The Council provides a wide variety of services to the Penrith municipality and enforces various federal, state
and local laws for their communities. These services include public health, traffic, parking and animal
