Mechanical Engineering Intern: 1-JUNE- 2022 –22- JUNE- 2022
• In which engines of Boieng-777, Airbus320 and ATR-42/72 were elaborated and the
Primary and secondary control surfaces ,Cooling system, FADEC system, oil system of all
aero planes were discussedthoroughly.
• Gas Turbine, compressor and combustion chamber was basic part of ATR. Jet A1 fuel is
used in aviation which is anti-freeze, high boiling point and anti-corrosion.
• Air cooling machine (ACM) is taken from 4th stage of compressor for cooling the inside of
cabin.
• High pressure turbine active clearance control (HPTACC) is used to moderate the air which
striking the turbine and avoiding the blade area to exceed the limit.
• 6 bearings were used in Boeing 777.Roller bearing which takes only radial load and ball
bearing which takes both thrust and radial load.
• Five Non-destructive Testing process were used in PIA. Eddy current process, magnetic
particle inspection, Fluorescent penetrate inspection, X-Ray ad Ultra sonic processes.

• Assisted with the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems such as boilers,
turbines, and generators
• Conducted routine inspections using pressure gauges and temperature sensors to monitor
equipment performance

performance and identify potential issues
• Extensive first-hand experience with compressors, pumps, valves, thermocouples,
pneumatic valves, and solenoid valves, as well as process instrumentation including RTDs.

• Developed a basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application
in power generation through fossil fuel combustion, using tools and gauges for maintenance
and monitoring.
