• Lecturers open online study results via BKel
to check students’ assignments.
• Answer questions from students or put them
into discussion.
• Lecturer may deeper check the knowledge by
asking randomly students to answer relevant
lessons.

9.1. The overview of goal
Warm up: Build the tower
Send each group a pack of newspaper, scissors and paper tape
for building the tower meets three criteria: tall, steady and
aesthetic

Game with number 30
Students work in pairs, counting numbers from 1 to
30, each time counting at least 1 unit, at most 3 units.
Whoever can reach the number 30 first is the winner.
Instruction on how to win this game: Just try to
reach the milestones: 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26. The
target (number 30 will be reached)
Meaning: A big goal needs to split into small goals

Writing goals at age 30
Send each student a note to write down personal
goals at the age of 30.
Require:
. The goal should follow the S.M.A.R.T principle.
. There should be at least 3 out of 7 areas in the
wheel of life model.

Classifying Goals:
• Ask students to create a 2+2 matrix to
classify goals

Planning to achieve goals:
Ask students to choose 3 out of their goals to write the
plan. For example:
The #1 Goal: Achieve 7.0 Ielts score in September next year
Plan to get #1 goal:
Spending 90 minutes/day to self-study English
Studying at English center 3 times/week
Testing English level every 3 months

The #2 Goal: Lose 10kg after a year


Plan to get #2 goal:
Jogging every 30 minutes/dạy
Eating on a weight loss diet, consulted by doctor
Once a month take the body detox by scientific methods

Group discuss how to increase the learning motivation
Suggest:

2. Envision the Success If You Do It and Feel the Regret If You
Don’t Do It
3. Create a Supportive Environment
4. Change Your Physiology and Stay in Action
