Your speech should incorporate relevant global examples to substantiate your


points and employ persuasive techniques such as ethos (ethical appeals), pathos
(emotional appeals), and logos (logical appeals). Additionally, demonstrate
organized and coherent reasoning, effective use of persuasive language and
rhetorical devices, and maintain an appropriate formal academic language and
tone throughout the speech

Please try to limit your speech to 300 to 400 words.

Things to keep in mind:-

For Criteria B (Organizing), the response should:

a. Employ organizational structures (PEEL) that serve the context and intention of
a persuasive speech effectively.
b. Organize opinions, ideas, and arguments coherently and logically, with a clear
ow and progression.

For Criteria C (Producing Text), the response should:

a. Produce a persuasive text that demonstrates thoughtful consideration of the


topic, exploring different perspectives and ideas.
b. Make effective stylistic choices in terms of rhetorical devices, persuasive
techniques (e.g., ethos, pathos, logos), and literary devices, showcasing an
awareness of the intended impact on the audience.
c. Select relevant examples, evidence, and details to support and develop the
arguments presented.

For Criteria D (Using Language), the response should:

a. Use an appropriate and varied range of vocabulary, sentence structures, and

b. Maintain an appropriate register and style consistent with the formal academic
