How To Guide – Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Once Heubach enables your account for MFA you have to set up your user account to use it.
This should only take a minute or so. Setting up MFA adds an extra layer of security to your
Microsoft 365 account sign-in. You first enter your password and, when prompted, provide a
dynamic verification code provided by MS Authenticator App.

1. Try to sign in to any Microsoft Service, for example Outlook
2. Enter your password

3. You will get the following pop up. Click “Next”
4. Click “Download now” to install MS Authenticator. Then click “Next”
5. Follow the instructions on screen

6. Scan QR code on your mobile using the downloaded MS Authenticator App
7. Open MS Authenticator on your mobile and click “Verified IDs”
8. Click “Scan QR code”

9. After scanning QR Code your account will be added
10. Your account will be added to MFA. Click Next. Now try it out and approve the
notification. Then click “Next”

1. Choose your account/add new user account
2. Enter your password
3. You will be asked to provide access in application
