Characteristics and Principles of VC-2000 1bed

VC-2000 1bed provides a variety of information of a patient by numeric values and


wave forms. VC-2000 1bed is featured as follows

※ Basic functions for Patient monitoring


- ECG lead (I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, V) select and displays Respiration
- Displays SpO2 and Pulse Rate
- Blood Pressure (NIBP, 2 IBP)
- Displays Temperature (2 Temp)
- Displays EtCO2(Inspiration, Expiration)

- Automatically save the Trend data of the day when data of the day are generated

Symbols for safety

WARNING

4. How to Set up PC Networking (10 Standard)

1. Click My Network Icon and then click again the right button of mouse and click
‘Properties’ in the menu.

2. Click In Local Area Connection, click the right button of mouse and click ‘Properties’
in the menu again.

3. In Local Area Connection Properties, check ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’ and then
click ‘Properties’ in the menu.

4. In Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties, setup IP as the followings,


1) Check ‘Use the following IP address’ and then insert IP address,
Subnet Mask(U) and Default Gateway(D) as likes

IP Address 192.168.10.15
Subnet Mask(U) 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway(D) 192.168.10.1

2) Click ‘OK’ and then reboot your PC.

5. To set up Firewall, go to ‘STARTSettingsControl PanelWindows Firewall’, and

3. How to Set up Central monitoring system

(1) To set up Central monitoring system Data base Driver, go to “1bed setup →
Volume → setup.exe”.

(2) Click [Next>] button.

(3) Please select “I accept the license agreement”. And Click [Next>] button.

(4) Click [Next>] button.

Cautions described below is to prevent any possible

Run as administrator

If you execute the Program, at first , the following window is displayed.


You must click the “Unblock” button, and restart the program.

- Get your computer safe from computer viruses and hacking.


- We recommend using an independent network that can not be
hacked.
WARING - You should update your regular security program to prevent machine
malfunctions.

Patient Monitor Setup use of this product.

“CAUTION”
 All IP Address of Central PC and connected patient monitors shall be different each
other..
 Bed No. of each patient monitor shall be different each other.

◆ IP Address setting
Only 4th digit of IP Address can be changed. (192.168.10.XXX)

On Main screen, click Menu button and select “SETUP  IP ADDRESS 


SET” to change 4th digit of IP. (Range: 101 ~ 250)

2 Setup for each monitor which will be connected with VC-2000 same as no.1.

We recommend to setup IP Address as below example


3 Ex) If you have 1 monitors, 192.168.10.31

◆ BED Setup

On Main screen, click Menu button and select “SETUP  BED NUMBER 
SET” and Setup BED Number. (Range: 1 ~ 99)

2 Setup for each monitor which will be connected with VC-2000 same as no.1

We recommend to setup Bed Number as below example

3. Auto & Manual function


This function can be changed to auto/manual. In case of Auto function, you can connect as
follows.

(1) Manual connection


Patient monitor and central monitoring system are connected manually in wanted order.
1) If you double click bed number which you want, it will be connected as central 01
and If you double click other bed number, it will be connected to central monitoring
system in order.

(2) SD Card Viewer


(2-1) Patient Monitor Trend Save

If you want to save Trend Data into


SD CARD, insert SD CARD into the

SD CARD port on the back of the
monitor. Then, click the “Menu
button” on Trend screen and select
TREND  SAVE.

 When SD CARD is not inserted, “FAIL, NO SD CARD” message will be displayed.


 SD CARD 2Gbye. FORMAT File system FAT

 Changing to "SAVE 15SEC" or "SAVE 1MIN" will initialize the data and save it from the

Synchronize the time.


Synchronize the time of the Patient Monitor following the Central Monitoring standard.

You can start/stop NIBP measurement of patient montior which is connected to VC-
2000 manually

Event Viewer will be shown on Event screen for selected bed number.

① Bed select
You can select wanted bed number. However, if there is no event data, bed will
not appear on the bed selection menu.
② Event List
Event date is displayed. The list include of bed number and the time which the
event occurred.
③ Delete File
You can delete a selected event data from the list on the left side of the screen.
④ Delete All
You can delete all event data from selected bed.
⑤ Wave select
You can select 3 Waves(LeadⅠ, LeadⅡ, LeadⅢ, Lead AVR, Lead AVL, Lead
AVF, Lead V1, Lead V2, Lead V3, Lead V4, Lead V5, Lead V6, RESP, SpO2,
IBP1, IBP2, IBP3, IBP4, EtCO2).
⑥ Wave
Displays wave between -10 to +10 seconds based on time which event
occurred. You can move to the bottom scroll to control the time.
⑦ Print
The information which is displayed in Event viewer like wave, numeric, alarm list
and event occurrence time can be printed.
⑧ Exit
Exits the Event Viewer.
⑨ Numerical Data
Display Numerical data(HR, ST, SpO2, RESP, EtCO2, IBP1, IBP2, IBP3, IBP4,
NIBP, Temp1, Temp2, Temp3, Temp4)
⑩ Alarm List
Displays the alarms which occurred.

Wave Reviewer will be shown only on Wave review Screen of selected Bed
number and you can select wanted bed number.

① Bed select
You can select wanted bed number. However, if there is no Wave review data,
the bed select menu will not be displayed.
② Review List
Displays a list of saved Wave review data. The list displays the Bed number and
the time whicht the Wave review saved.
③ Delete All
Delete all Wave review data of selected Bedno.
④ Wave select
You can select 3 Waves(LeadⅠ, LeadⅡ, LeadⅢ, Lead AVR, Lead AVL, Lead
AVF, Lead V1, Lead V2, Lead V3, Lead V4, Lead V5, Lead V6, RESP, SpO2,
IBP1, IBP2, IBP3, IBP4, EtCO2).
④ Wave
Displays wave of +20 seconds based on time which wave review data saved.
You can move bottom scroll to control the time.

⑤ Print
The information which is displayed in Wave reviewer like wave, numeric, alarm
list and event occurrence time, etc can be printed.
⑥ Exit
Exits the Wave Reviewer.
⑦ Numerical data
Display Numerical data(HR, ST, SpO2, RESP, EtCO2, IBP1, IBP2, IBP3, IBP4,
NIBP, Temp1, Temp2, Temp3, Temp4)
⑧ Alarm List
Displays the alarms which occurred.

(6) Viewer Data Save on/off Menu

This menu will be turn on/off data saving of Event Viewer and Wave Reviewer. When
the data of the Wave reviewer is turned off, the data of Event viewer is also turned off.

- Even if the patient monitor is being monitored, If the switch


is off, event data, wave review data is no stored.

Alarms

WARNING! : Do not silence the audible alarm or decrease it’s vole to


ensure
patients safety.

Warning! : Every time the monitor is used, please check alarm limits and
settings to ensure that they are appropriate for the patient being
monitored.

Warning! : There is a basics 5 sec alarm delay to prevent false alarms.


( However, there is no alarm delay in all functions.)
Alarm delay can be increased following the network situation.
You must acknowledge and respond to alarm delays.

1. Alarms from Default screen.


Default screen will look like as shown below.

When an alarm occurs, the screen( portion of default screen) will have flashing red bed
number, red alarm message and red parameter.

1. Select desired Bed from window.

2. Click Alarm setting ICON.

3. Alarm Dialog window will be displayed.

4. Select desired Alarm type and adjust limits with arrows placed next to each
numbers

5. Select Ok to confirm

Once you click OK button, alarm setting will be delivered to selected patient monitor and
change alarm settings on both of the patient monitor and VC-2000.

Both of patient monitor and VC-2000 will have same alarm setting for selected device.

Before you request for after Check below contents first when
VC-2000 is not operating properly.!
service.

 If Patient Monitor cannot be connected with PC.


 Check if IP Address & BED Number of each monitors are same. (When you use
wireless, you also have to set up IP Address of AP module.)
 When IP and BED Number is same, there will be error between patient monitor and
PC.
 Check if LAN Cable is Direct Cable.
 Shall not use Cross Cable.
 Check if HUB is Switching Hub, and is operating properly.
 Turn On/Off the power switch because HUB is randomly mis-operating.

 If VC-2000 screen is broken or not normal.


 Check if display resolution of PC is set up at 1920 x 1080 pixel.
 The problem can be VGA Card of low resolution PC.

 If it’s not connected automatically when you turn off/on PC or patient monitor.
Currently, when you re-boot connected patient monitors or re-start the VC-2000, you
have to connect again VC-2000 with patient monitors. (This is not error or problem
with program.)
