 Specific entry requirements for qualifications awarded by non-Italian educational institutions

Important notice
The following document lists the education paperwork required from students who possess an international
academic qualification to apply for a degree programme at the University of Messina (UniME). Education
documents to be uploaded must be translated into English or Italian.

The database takes into consideration the specificities of the foreign educational systems. Therefore, depending
on the country where the academic qualification was awarded, there might be different documents and/or
requirements that need to be submitted for each application. The information provided does not aim to be totally
comprehensive as the document accounts only for the countries from which UniME received the largest number
of applications in the past academic years. Therefore, prospective students can also apply even if their country is
not listed.

According to the European Research Council (ERC) domains, UniME Degree programmes taught in English
are grouped as follow:

• Physical Sciences and Engineering (PE)

The decision on whether the qualification submitted complies with the entry requirements of the selected degree
programme rests with the International Mobility Unit.

INTERNATIONAL Diploma of the International Baccalaureate (Diploma Programme) issued by an

BACCALAUREATE (IB) educational institution recognized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)
meeting the following general requirements:
• at least 24 points in six subjects of choice, 12 of which must be obtained at
