The Volute Casing , Impeller and Back plate are of Virgin Polypropylene. Volute Casing in top centre line discharge open type light in weight for

optimum performance and wide range of applications. The Bearing frame is manufactured from heavy cast iron and having large oil reservoir . The

Shaft is made of Steel En-8 and protected from corrosive chemicals by providing suitable shaft sleeve. Shaft Sleeve, Mechanical Seal & Gland packing

provided as per Chemical composition of Liquid or application.

APPLICATIONS
'AYUSH' Process Pumps are particularly noted for handling clean or slightly turbid, non-aggressive

liquids. They are suitable for pumping condensate, including water up to 100°C, Irrigation, general water

supply in agriculture, trade and Industries with favourable NPSH conditions.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Horizontal single stage volute casing pumps, end suction, top centerline discharge. Back pull-out design,

enables to remove the rotary assembly without disturbing the pipe lines. The support feet are integrally

cast with volute casing.

The 'AYUSH' range comprises of 30 pump types with 3 shaft sizes which cover the entire range with

maximum interchangeability. For pumps belonging to a particular shaft size, shaft sleeve, impeller nut

and bearings are interchangeable. Impeller is hydraulically balanced by back vanes, and in the case of

larger Impeller diameter by renewable wear ring and relief holes.

A double mechanical seal is a combination of two seals mounted either back-to-back, or single seal having sealing

faces on both sides or tandem type. These seals can be single-coiled or multi springs type besides they can have a

combination of unbalance / unbalance, unbalance / balance or balance / balance tandem types. These seals are

suitable for handling media which otherwise cannot be handled by single seals. For cooling the seal faces during

operation, a clear compatible liquid is circulated between two seals at a higher pressure of one bar than the pumped

liquid. The internal seal prevents the liquid from entering the circulation system while the external seal prevents it

from leaking to the environment.
