OATH OF SPORTSMANSHIP

I ______________________________, do agree to abide and uphold all


the conditions and rules set forth by the AUP Faculty and Staff
Basketball Association. I will uphold the values of sportsmanship and
fair play.

I will show respect to my fellow players, coaches, officials, and


spectators recognizing their integral role in the game. I will play by the
rules, competing honestly and ethically, and I will accept the decisions
made by the officials with grace and dignity. I will display good
sportsmanship at all times, whether in victory or defeat. I will be
gracious in winning and humble in losing. I will prioritize the safety and
well-being of all participants on the court, avoiding reckless or
dangerous actions that could harm others. I will remember that
basketball is a game meant to be enjoyed. I will strive to have fun,
create a positive atmosphere, and promote the joy of the game for all
involved.

So help me God.
