Program overview
The goal of the Epicor Certification Program is to ensure that
individuals representing Epicor—either as an employee or as
part of the Partner Channel—offer our customers the highest
level of service and support and help enable them to achieve
their business goals.

The Epicor Certification Program is designed to validate your

skillset and level of expertise towards our Epicor product
line and to enable you to promote your achievements
through digital badging. Completing an Epicor certification
differentiates you and enhances your credibility by offering
visible and verifiable recognition that validates your
accomplishments and associated skills.

The Epicor Certification Program is divided into well-defined

Specializations and Certification Singles.

A Specialization represents a body of knowledge and skills

across a broader defined system area. A Single represents an
individual application, product or smaller area of knowledge.
Each Epicor Certification is backed by an Exam Guide that
details the “Target Achiever” profile and knowledge required
for the associated Certification Exam. The exams focus on the
practical application of knowledge towards implementing and
using our Epicor solutions.

What do I need to know before I start?

• To be considered “Certified”, you must pass at least
one Certification Exam by achieving or exceeding
the minimum passing score stated in the associated
exam guide
• All Certification Exams are virtually proctored
• Most certifications expire after a stated period of time—
once your certification expires, you must recertify
by passing the current version of the exam for your
desired certification
• Digital badges are issued for each successful
Certification Exam—the badge aligns to the certification
and will expire at the same time as the Certification
itself. See the associated exam guide for details.

What does it mean to me?

When you complete one or more Certifications through
the Epicor Certification Program, you demonstrate that
you have a global and deep understanding of the Epicor
product line. You also receive a digital badge that you can
use to promote your achievements.

Track your certification status
Completed Certification Exams must pass two checkpoints.
The first is attaining a passing score as stated in the
exam guide, and the second is a “Clear” status on
virtual proctoring. You can track your progress through
Certification > My Certification. The exam status will show
“Complete - Pending Review” until results are received
from both ELC and RPNow. Individual exam attempts and
associated scores can be viewed on your transcripts in ELC.

Completed exams status review:

• Pass—You achieved a passing score and a Clear on
virtual proctoring. You are now considered certified and
will receive an email from Acclaim to claim your badge
• Fail—You do not achieve a passing score on your exam.
After receiving our results, you may register and retake
the exam
• Failed, Rules Violation—Your exam was flagged and
reviewed for suspicious behavior, and a rules violation
was noted. You may review the specifics online by
clicking on the failed test name. If needed, you have 45
days from the exam date to file an appeal
*NOTE: If an extreme violation is noted, you will be removed from our
Certification Program for a period of one year and an alert will be sent
to your management team with full details*

Retaking a failed exam

• If you fail a test for any reason and are qualified to try
again, you may register and reattempt the test after you
receive your exam results
• All exam attempts will incur the stated exam fee
• Epicor reserves the right to disallow any reattempts of
the same exam at any time

Badging FAQs
How do I obtain a digital badge?
Once you have successfully completed all certification
requirements, an email will be sent to you from Acclaim
with instructions for accessing their platform and securing
your digital badge. If you do not wish to share your badge,
you can easily configure privacy settings in Acclaim.

Can I have more than one digital badge?

Yes! All digital badges that you earn will be visible under
your Acclaim profile. Each badge is managed, shared, and
displayed individually.

Is there a fee associated to use Acclaim?

No. This service is provided as part of the Epicor
Certification Program.

When will my badge expire?

Each digital badge represents a specific certification
achievement. As such, it is tied to the certification status
and expires along with your certification status. Once you
successfully recertify, your badge is renewed.
