Walk – in- Interview for the recruitment of temporary positions

Applications are invited for the recruitment of temporary positions listed below from eligible candidates
through Walk-in Interview on 16.05.2024 at 10.30 am at ICAR- Agricultural Technology Application
Research Institute (ATARI), Hyderabad.

1. Young Professional II (Temporary on contractual basis) (2 positions)

Name of the Project : ICAR-ATARI-Main - Administrative Section

Place of posting : ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI),

CRIDA Campus, Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad-500059

Nature of duties : Operation of portals of ERP, eHRMS, FMS-MIS, Payroll, PFMS,

e-Office, GeM, APAR, RTI
Maintenance of Institute website, KVK correspondence files, courtcase files
and records, cash and bills record, stores record, assets register, consumables
record, RTI file, electrical and electronic equipment, Audio Visual aids,
photography, biometric attendance, Internet and Intranet facilities

Any other duties assigned by the Head of Office and Director of the Institute

Qualifications : Essential: Post graduate degree in Engineering / Web Technology /

Computer Applications from a recognized University.
Desirable: (a) Knowledge and/or experience in the activities mentioned
under nature of duties.

Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (Age relaxation as per
ICAR/GoI guidelines)

Duration : Initially for one year from the date of joining and extendable annually to a
further duration of two more years (1+1+1) subjected to the requirements
of the services of the YP in the Institute and satisfactory performance of the
candidate after evaluation by the Director of the Institute after the
completion of each year in service.

Emoluments : Consolidated renumeration of Rs.42,000/- per month

2. Young Professional II (Temporary on contractual basis) (1 position)

Name of the Project : Developing Oilseeds Model Village under NFSM Oilseeds

Place of posting : ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI),

CRIDA Campus, Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad-500059

Nature of duties : Data collection of KVKs of Andhra Pradesh,Telangana, Tamil Nadu and
Puducherry and monitoring of KVKs.

Any other duties assigned by the Nodal Officer and Director of the Institute

Qualifications : Essential qualifications:

Masters’ Degree in Agricultural Economics /Agricultural Statistics
Agricultural Extension / Agronomy and Allied Sciences from a recognized
university with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from a
recognized University.

Desirable
(a) Knowledge and/ or experience in data compilation, analysis and
report writing.
(b) Computer knowledge and/ or experience in Worksheets, Document editors
and presentation software.

Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (Age relaxation as per
ICAR/GoI guidelines)

Duration : Initially for one year from the date of joining and extendable annually to a
further duration of two more years (1+1+1) subjected to the requirements of

EPBX, Internet and Intranet, electrical and electronic equipment, Biometric
Attendance system, bank related work
Any other duties assigned by the Head of Office and Director of the Institute

Qualifications : Essential: Graduate in any subject from a recognized University

Desirable: Graduate in Computer Sciences / Computer Engineering / IT /

EEE Experience in IT applications, virtual meeting platforms and computer
skills (MS word, Excel, Power point, Tally etc), maintenance of office files
and record, stocks and stores, AV aids, electrical and electronic equipment.
Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (Age relaxation as per
ICAR/GoI guidelines)

Duration : Initially for one year from the date of joining and extendable annually to a
further duration of two more years (1+1+1) subjected to the requirements of
the services of the YP in the Institute and satisfactory performance of the
candidate after evaluation by the Director of the Institute after the completion
of each year in service.

Emoluments : Consolidated renumeration of Rs.30,000/- per month

4.Young Professional I (Temporary on contractual basis)

Name of the Project : ICAR-ATARI-Main – Director Cell

Place of posting : ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI),

CRIDA Campus, Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad-500059

Nature of duties : Data compilation, analysis and report writing, preparing work sheets,
attending phone calls, document editors and preparation software and other
releated works assigned by the cell.

Qualifications : Essential: Agiculture B.Sc /Graduates in relevent subjects or Diploma

holders in relevent agricultural sciences.

Desirable: Knowledge in data compilation ,Computer skills (MS Word,

Excel) Computer knowledge /experience in worksheets, documents editors
and presentation soft ware and other releated works .

Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (Age relaxation as per
ICAR/GoI guidelines)

Duration : Initially for one year from the date of joining and extendable annually to a
further duration of two more years (1+1+1) subjected to the requirements of
the services of the YP in the Institute and satisfactory performance of the
candidate after evaluation by the Director of the Institute after the completion
of each year in service.

Emoluments : Consolidated renumeration of Rs.30,000/- per month

Date and mode of submitting the applications:

Applications can be downloaded from the website (https://atari-hyderabad.icar.gov.in). Filled in
application with attested copies of all relevant documents should be handed over in person on the day
of the interview before 10.30 am. Originals of the documents of proof must be produced for verification
on the day of Interview.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The candidate shall have to produce the original documents at the time of interview & joining, in case
of selection, failing which, the candidature shall be cancelled and no right on the contractual
appointment can be claimed for this advertisement.
2. The positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to 31st
March for SRFs and for a period of one year for Young Professionals / till the completion /
continuation of the respective projects / schemes, whichever is earlier.
3. The contract for SRF may be extended periodically subject to satisfactory performance till the
termination of the project / Scheme. The contract for Young Professionals may be for three years
subjected to the requirement of their services and performance of the candidates. The Director, ICAR-
ATARI Hyderabad reserves the right to withdraw the vacancies at any time.
4. The number of positions may increase and decrease depending upon the requirement of Institute.
5. Candidate shall have no right to claim regular appointment at the Institute, as the post is purely
contractual and is co-terminus with the project.
6. Candidate having essential qualifications and submitting duly filled-in proforma along with self-
attested copies of certificates only would be allowed to appear in the Walk in Interview.
7. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form or misinformation shall lead to disqualification or
termination and further action may be initiated against the candidate as deemed fit by the Director,
ICAR-ATARI, Hyderabad.
8. The candidate intending to appear in the Walk-in-interview, if any of his/her near or distant
relative is an employee of the ICAR/ATARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of
duties, relationship, in advance, before the start of interview to the undersigned in the format
provided in Annexure 2.
9. The selected candidates will have to submit medical fitness certificate and character certificate at the
time of joining.
10. No TA/DA/any other expenses will be provided by this Institute to attend the interview.
11. For leaving the contract in between the stipulated period, he/she shall have to give a minimum of
one month notice in advance, to avoid disturbance of the project / Office work, failing which
he/she will have to deposit one month salary with the employer.
12. His/her headquarter will be at ICAR-ATARI, Zone-X, Hyderabad and he/she will work under the
immediate administrative control of the CCPI /Project In-charge / Head of Office of the said project /
Scheme and under the overall control of the Director, ICAR-ATARI, Zone-X, Hyderabad. However,
he/she may be asked to go on tours anywhere in India to compile/collect data required for the project.
13. The ICAR will not be liable to bear any expenditure on pension contribution/leave salary contribution
/Provident Fund, ESI, medical, insurance, etc.
14. Grant of leave, travelling and other allowances is regulated by Indian Council of Agricultural Research
(ICAR), New Delhi mutatis mutandis, in accordance with the Project In-charge and supplementary rules
and such other rules and orders as issued by the ICAR, New Delhi/Funding Agency from time to time.
15. The Director, ICAR-ATARI, Zone-X, Hyderabad reserves the right to terminate the contract
even before the completion of the project / scheme for which no appeal thereof would be
entertained.
