In this lesson, we will learn how to screen for stock opportunities using TC2000.
Scripts for Bullish/Bearish FS and UR/DR Types
1. Bull-FS-PAM-TC2000

We will create separate 2D and Week Time Frame for
each of the above scripts and hence in total we will have 8
conditions as shown on the right

RECAP and IMPORTANT NOTE
For swing trading stocks, trader is advised to use 1 year 2D or 4 years 1 week time frame.
For swing trading stocks using 4 years 1 week time frame, note that the buffer (entry and SL
distance) is much higher and hence it is up to the discretion of the trader whether to hold or
exit the trade before earnings. Strictly for 1 year 2D, all trades must be closed before earnings
announcement as the buffer (entry and SL distance) is lower.
Example today is 1st April 2021 and there is an earnings announcement due on 10th April 2021,
we only have around 10 days for the trade before earnings. Therefore, trader trading 1yr2D chart
is advised to skip the trade. Trader trading 4yrs1W chart can still consider taking the trade but
must be willing to accept the earning risk as well.

WHAT IF I HAVE MANY STOCK OPPORTUNITIES?
How many open positions depends on these few factors
1. Existing open positions
If your restaurant is full, then no matter how many customers you have, you cannot accept them
in until the existing dinners are done
2. Confidence level
Trader is advised to open up to max 5 positions at any one time.
If confidence high -> Open 3 to 5
If confidence low -> Open 1 to 2
Unsure -> Allow existing positions to hit feedback and stay out for time being
3. Similar Industry
Choose max of 2
Example, if you have JPM, GS, BAC, MS. Choose max of 2 from banking industry.
4. Priority for fundamentally strong companies
Usually within the S&P500, excludes oil & gas, airlines and bio-technology
