INSTALLATION • Remove the front grille cover.

FRONT GRILLE COVER


Customer Information: The information in this
installation instruction is intended for use only by skilled 9 CLIPS
technicians who have the proper tools, equipment, and
training to correctly and safely add equipment to your
vehicle. These procedures should not be attempted by
“do-it-yourselfers.”

NOTE:
• This kit should be installed only if the ambient air
temperature is 60°F (15°C) or above.
• To allow the adhesive to cure, do not wash the vehicle
for 24 hours. Make sure the customer is aware of this.
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the front bumper.
• Wrap a shop towel around the lever.
• Apply masking tape as shown.

SHOP TOWEL LEVER

5. While wearing eye protection, drill the front bumper: 6. Install the four spring nuts to the front lower trim.

7. Using two alcohol wipes, thoroughly clean the front


bumper where the front lower trim will attach.

8. Peel back the adhesive backings, and tape them to 10. Secure the front lower trim to the front bumper with

9. Install the front lower trim to the front bumper with 4 SELF-TAPPING

12. While applying light pressure against the front lower


trim, carefully remove the taped adhesive backings
in the order shown.
13. Using a rubber roller, apply firm pressure against the
front lower trim and roll from one end to the other.
NOTE: Apply firm pressure, especially at the ends.
