Very good everyone! Great job in your research skills.

Did you know that the landform that you presented can be found here in the Philippines? And some
of them are considered as famous destinations here in our country.

First is the mountain. One of the famous mountains here in the Philippines is the Mt. Apo.

 Even though mt apo is an active volcano we can still consider it as a mountain.

 It is in south central Mindanao in Davao City.
 Mt. Apo is one of the highest Mt. In the Philippines that measures 9,692 ft.
 The home of the Philippine eagle.

Second is hills. As your classmate discussed earlier, hills are the smaller version of mountain. And
one of the famous hills that can be found in the Philippines is Chocolate Hills.

 It is located the Province of Bohol, Philippines.

 There are at least 1,260 hills over the area. Imagine, that's so many hills.
 They are covered in green grass that turns brown like chocolate during hot season.

Third is the Plateau. Plateau is like a mountain that has a flat top. One of the Plateau found in the
Philippines is the Bukidnon plateau.

 It is in the province of Bukidnon in Mindanao.

 It is 915 meters above sea level.

The fourth is Plain. A plain is flat land. One famous plain in the Philippines Central Luzon Plain.

Last is the volcano. One famous Volcano in the Philippines is Mayon Volcano.

 Can be found in Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines.

 It is famous not only in the Philippines but around the world because of its most perfect
volcanic cone shape and symmetry.

Do you have any questions about the landforms that can be found in the Philippines?

Earlier we had an activity to act it out and you showed the ways on how we can protect our
landforms. We need to protect our landform because it is important. Let’s move on and discuss
why these landforms are important.

1. Landforms provide habitats for all living things.

 What landform can you see in the picture? Yes, it is chocolate hills. Chocolate hills are
considered as the home of our tarsier.
 How about on the second picture, yes, Very Good, it is the Philippine eagle, Philippine
Eagle is living in Mt. Apo.
2. Landforms like plains and valleys, with fertile soil and favorable conditions, are crucial for
agriculture and urban development in many human settlements.
 Plains are where humans create their homes and where they plant the crops they used to
survive.
 Just like in the picture as you can see this is a plain and it has houses.
3. Mountains and hills are rich in minerals and resources like coal, gold, and ores, and are
sources of rivers, and streams for drinking, irrigation, and hydropower.
 As you can see in the picture, landform provide minerals that we can use for example of this
are the gold, coal and ore. The gold that we used as jewelry.
4. Fertile plains and valleys support agriculture, which is a primary livelihood for many
communities.
 Landform helps us especially to our livelihood, where we can plant crops and sell them to
earn money, or we can eat them.

That is why landform is important not just for us humans but also for animals. Do you have any
questions about the different landforms that can be found in the Philippines?

How about the importance of landforms?

Let’s answer this question orally and I will score you.

As a student what will you do to preserve our landforms?

Let us have short quiz. This is identification. Please get your test notebook and anser this.

Are you done?

Okay, exchange paper with your seatmate, who can read and answer no. 1.

To end our class this is your assignment. Put it in long bon paper. Make sure to be creative.

Do you have any clarifications?

If none, Let us end here. Goodbye class.
