Course Title : HOUSEKEEPING NC II

Course Descriptions : this course deals with the housekeeping operations in hotel operations preparing guest room for service , includes turndown service, linen and laundry service,
butler and valet service and public cleaning.

General Objectives : At the end of this course the student maybe able to :

Cognitive:
1. Understand the importance of safety security and personal hygiene in workplace.
2. Understand the basic principles of house keeping.
3. Identify the different equipments in housekeeping.
4. Identify the amenities and supplies.

Affective:
1. Understand on how to maintain efficient and effective work practices.
2. Describe the techniques and methods in making up the room.
3. Appreciate the butler and valet service
4. Value the importance of quality service in housekeeping.
5. Relate the knowledge in housekeeping services.

Psychomotor:
1. Demonstrate in making up the beds,
2. Demonstrate the basic linen and laundry service.
3. Perform the basic skills in butler and valet service.
4. Apply the knowledge and skills for the attainment and advancement of necessary instructions to be realized.
