ABSTRACT:
Marginalized societies in Karnataka, including smallholder farmers, face significant
challenges in managing crop-related risks and accessing financial services. In this
Assignment, my goal is to study on how to increase crop insurance coverage, improve
financial inclusion, and reduce poverty and vulnerability among marginalized farmers in
Karnataka. By empowering these communities, we can promote sustainable agriculture,
enhance food security, and contribute to a more resilient and equitable society.
