QUESTION 1
Below are the business transactions of AYRA Enterprise, a business selling cakes and cookies,
for the month of December 2023.

1 The owner, Ayra contributed RM50,000 cash into the business.
2 Ayra also brought into the business a mixer and an oven worth RM17,000.
5 Goods worth RM4,300 were purchased on credit from a supplier Bake with
Yan.
6 Ayra discovered that some of the supplies worth RM250 purchased from
Bake with Yan were damaged, and she immediately returned them.
9 Sold goods on credit to Toko Taka Trading worth RM5,000. Some of the
goods worth RM500 were returned due to misunderstanding in the order
made.
11 Made cash sales worth RM1,500 to Alisha.
18 The business bought a second-hand van costing RM40,000 from a used car
dealer Rejang Motor Sdn Bhd, and paid RM5,000 cash. The remaining
balance was paid on credit.
26 Ayra took some of the cakes and cookies from the shop worth RM1,000 and
gifted it to her regular customers.
28 Transfer through direct debit payment for shop rental amounting to RM3,500
and staff salaries of RM2,000.
Required:

to settle their debt of RM200. The allowance for doubtful debts is to be increased by
RM560.
5. RM600 dividend was received in advance, while rent expenses RM750 was owing at the
end of the year.

6. Depreciation for the year were provided as follows:
Motor Vehicles 10% per annum on reducing balance method
Machinery 10% per annum on straight line method
