PRAYER OF THE STUDENT TEACHER

Lord, guide me today and my students for another day of

Journey to explore new learning and discovery

Lord, help me understand my student’s differences in terms of their

Needs, emotions, opinions and beliefs for me to have a better

Communication with students.

I want to teach my students how to believe this life on earth, how to face its

Struggles and its strife and to improve their worth not just the lesson in the book

But also lesson in real life.

Lord, let me embrace these responsibilities to help the world to grow in

Wisdom and in grace.

I may do my part with confidence and happiness in heart.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

vii
CREED OF THE STUDENT TEACHER

I am a teacher,

I accept the challenges to be knowledgeable and determined in teaching every

Student, because I believe every student can learn,

I accept the responsibilities to create a learning environment conducive to

Optimum achievement academically, socially and emotionally,

I provide a model of decorum and respect the guides my students as well as

honors them.

I actively pursue excellence for my student and myself

I affirm excellent expectations for my students and myself.

I cherish every student and respect their differences.

I render my whole life to change the world one student at a time.

I am a teacher

viii
PERSONAL EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

My personal educational philosophy is “students’ learning is not entirely

dependent to the teachers”. I came up with this idea because this is a crucial matter

in the sector of education. Teachers are always blamed when it comes to the

quality of education particularly here in the Philippines. In my own perspective, not

only teachers are the one who responsible for nurturing our youth. Parents, MKO

or More Knowledgeable Other especially the system itself are all responsible for

making our youth more competent, discipline and goal-oriented.

In line with this, I also believe to Social Learning Theory by Psychologist

Albert Bandura where in learning happens through modelling, imitation, and

observation and is impacted by a variety of elements, including motivation,

attention, attitudes, and emotions. The relationship between cognitive and

environmental factors that influences learning is taken into consideration by this

theory. In real-life, most teachers gave their best part in education system, some

of them put aside their personal life in order to give a quality education that all of

us are craving for. But the quality education that we dream will not be implemented

if teachers are the only one who’s working to attain this objective.

To conclude, all of us are responsible for the future especially our youth’s

future according to Dr. Jose Rizal one of our national heroes noted that our youth

is our hope for the country and this quality education will obtain if the root - the

system is hunger for the better future.
