Since Aug 2018 to till date with Sogex Oman CO L.LC., Muscat – Sultanate of Oman MAINTENANCE

• Through my expertise, taking care of Power and SWRO Desalination plants in Oman from execution
stage DBRs reviews, Project reviews at L1 levels, performing long-term preservations, reviewing day-
to-day reports for seawater quality, permeate quality, membrane performance, analyzing the CIP results,
advising for different chemical cleaning regimes and organizing for autopsy, coordinating, organizing
resources, spares, tools, inventory etc.
• Part of Process / Engineering design and Construction of Sohar IV IWP – 250 MLD as well as
supported in bid preparation for 300 MLD Al Ghubrah IWP.
• Taking care of process enhancement for the Sohar IV IWP – 250 MLD.
• Providing technical support in the preparation of specifications, evaluation of bid proposals, and
monitoring contractor work to assure contract compliance. Oversight of contractors during outages to Commercial
ensure proper QA/QC procedures are followed during the execution of the work Operation
In association with Sogex Oman from 2018 – 2020 was part of Acciona Agua at Qatar. (it’s QEWC 160
MLD SWRO Desalination plant) as Operation & Maintenance role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical advice to the Plant Manager as required and execute the decisions.
• Planning and Monitoring PM activities as per OEM
• Conducting and Analyzing Predictive/Condition Monitoring data of all equipment & making necessary
action in time.
• Responding to Corrective complaints on priority to avoid production breakdowns.
• Preparing & organizing major shutdown plans within plant resources and third-party resources if
required to avoid downtime, Trouble Shootings,
• Preparing Monthly Operation & Maintenance reports using MS Office tools

Work Experience
March 2017 to August 2018 for Vatech Wabag Ltd in SOHAR / OMAN as Process Engineer in charge 20
MLD SWRO plant. Client: Majis Industrial Services. (Lead a team of 20)
February -16 to March 17 with Sogex Oman CO L.L.C in SOHAR / OMAN as Lead Operations of
20MLD RO plant. Client: Majis Industrial Services. Worked at the capacity of Manager Operations

Responsibilities handled:
• Led a team of 25 to optimize operation of the Desalination Plant to ensure 100 % plant availability for
water production to meet dispatch quality, quantity and energy consumption requirements. Decision-
making for regular operation of the plants in achieving Targeted Production Rates.
• Analysing the Membrane performance, directing the team towards safe and Productive Operating
Procedures with quality.

April -13 to Feb -16 with Thermal Power tech corporation India ltd (Sembcorp Group) as Asst manager
(2x 660 MW Supercritical Thermal Power Plant. Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India.

• Involved in project as Clients Engineer, performing Design basis reviews, coordinating, HAZOP studies,
inspecting and follow up with EPC’s as per Field quality approved plan check points,
• Planning resources to execute the job where EPC fails to keep sufficient resources to meet the project
schedule as proactive action with notice of back charge.
• Erection, Commissioning & Operation of Fuel Oil system, Compressors, HVAC, Sea Water Intake, R.O &
DM Plant, Firefighting system, Cooling water systems with forced draft cooling towers, HVAC & Turbine
auxiliaries. Condensate polishing units etc, Involved in commissioning of all packages,
• After commissioning continued in the operation of executed packages, performed predictive, corrective &
preventive maintenance jobs & monitoring through SAP (Maintenance Management), assisting
maintenance in their day-to-day activities.
• Successfully handled the installation of Whole BOP and completed in 20 months.

• Implementation of preventive maintenance programs;


• The implementation of special maintenance and control of technical results;
• Arrangements for handling operations or long-term storage;
• The notification of obsolete equipment, with the request for relevant elimination from assets;

requirements to compensate for deviations from routine and special maintenance demands;

• After commissioning of Unit continued in Maintenance of BOP and supporting Combustion inspections, Hot
gas path inspections, and Major Overhaul of GTs under OEM Technical advisor supervision.
• Planning, Organizing, and Executing Preventive maintenance, analyzing trends from Predictive maintenance
reports, proactive to corrective maintenance.

OCT-2010 to Aug -12’05 with Meenakshi Energy Pvt Ltd. (2x150 MW) Thermal power project.
Responsibilities:

• Project Engineer involved in Erection as owners engineer, Commissioning of BOP, Boiler 495 TPH CFBC
of Thermax make, ESP & Rotating equipment ( ID, PA, SA fans )& TG ( Nanjing make )and its auxiliaries.
• Ensure planning, scheduling, monitoring & timely execution, erection, and commissioning of mechanical
works for) , Turbine Boiler & Auxiliaries, BOP )(RO Plant 10 MLD.
• Evaluation & monitoring of overall work progress of erection & commissioning of Equipment as per the set
schedule and coordinating with contractors to achieve targets.
• Reporting to the superiors in time for achieving the targets as per the L3 Schedule.
• Checking and clearing the invoices/bills of contractors as per the status of erection & Billing Breakup.
