BIOS Login
The product supports basic input/output system (BIOS) login and authentication, by default the
password is huawei123. To improve device security, change the password upon the first
successful login and periodically update this password. You must send the device back to the
manufacturer for initialization once you forget the password. Therefore, keep your password
secure after setting it.

The authentication password for a BIOS login needs to be set for both active and standby control boards.

Procedure
1. Use a serial cable to connect the COM port on the device to the serial port on a PC. Then,
log in to the device through the serial port.

The following uses the SCUP control board as an example. In actual applications, actual command output
prevails.

2. Restart the device. During the restarting, the system displays the message "Press <D> key to
stop auto-boot". Then, press D within 3s and intput the password to enter the BIOS menu.
3. The last update date of extended BIOS is : Oct 22 2014 19:06:45
4. System is booting from extended BIOS...
5. Extended BIOS version is 001
