Oracle Functional Consultant Job Specification / Description
Provide Oracle applications solutions to an exclusive range of clients across high
profile assignments.
Manage full life cycle of design and testing phases.
Develop solution design and lead client throughout implementation and support
phases.
Assist customers / end-users maximize strategic business value from company
products to provide them with vision of their end state solution and roadmap.
Evaluate customer's / end-user’s business requirements, needs and objectives and
transform same to company processes, solutions and modules being implemented.
Analyse and solve complex customer issues related to data and processes.
Ensure seamless transition through customer / end-user lifecycle working closely with
presales, professional services and support teams.
Provide necessary support for SCM/ FINANCIALS/ HRMS/ PROJECTS / EPPM P6
Modules / Solutions.
Supply ERP functional consulting and education services at customer / end-user sites.
Lead design activities defining requirements, testing and provide direction to
customers, end-users and junior consultants.
Enhance and update knowledge on domain field practices and related technology.
Develop know-how and expertise in domain field products.
Perform daily activity reporting against plans and schedules.
Engage in project coordinating, team leading and implementing ERP functional
consultation.
Conducts business assessments, evaluating customer's / end-user’s business
requirements, desires, and current-process shortcomings throughout all departments.
Conducts live product demos.
Creates proposal presentations and presents the final solution to the prospect.
Manages the customer transition through the implementation lifecycle, working
closely with both the customer, end-user and the support team.
Composes Statements of Work, Project Plans, and Implementation Timelines.
Stays current on software application functional capabilities in the industries of
Manufacturing, Construction and Distribution.
Works collaboratively with other functional & technical project team members to
ensure successful & timely project delivery.
Occasional travel to all of Impact's locations.
Apply best practices in functional areas related to Implementation and Operations
Management.
Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, leading and actively participating in
design, process definition, configuration and testing of the relevant modules and
functionality.
Extensively worked on various business flows such as Order to Cash (O2C), Procure
to Pay (P2P) cycle and Fixed Asset to GL.
Analyse client-reported Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, CRM or
Projects issues, and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
May have project lead role.
Problem solve and offer ideas to address client issues.
Manage your own personal and professional development, seeking opportunities to
expand your consulting skills and experiences.
Maintain ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams while providing instructional
guidance to more junior professionals
Provide expertise on engagements related but not limited to Systems Implementation,
Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations, Software Application Development
and Maintenance.
Perform analysis to diagnose client issues the assessment of client issue analyses
performed by more junior personnel.
