Turfloop church of the Nazarene All Night Prayer.

Theme: A Call to Prayer.

Scripture: 2nd Chronicles 7: 14, “if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil

they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land

prosperous again” (GNT). “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and

pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will

forgive their sin and heal their land” (ESV).

Prayer Items.

Repentance: confession-Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,

that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Acts 3:19

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from

all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9

For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if

you return to him. 2 Chronicles 30:9b

Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.

Zechariah 1:3b

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the

forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. 8 Let

me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. 9 Hide your face from my

sins and blot out all my iniquity. 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast

spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me”. Psalm 51
Jeremiah 29:11-15

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for

evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to

me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your

heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and

gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the

Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

Family: relationships, children, peace, joy, love, forgiveness, fruitfulness, reconciliation,

unity, prosperity, and restoration.

Psalms 127, “Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD

watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. 2 In vain you rise early and stay up late,

toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves. 3 Children are a heritage from

the LORD, offspring a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children

born in one’s youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to

shame when they contend with their opponents in court”.

Exodus 20:12, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land

that the Lord your God is giving you”.

Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not

depart from it”.

1 Timothy 5:8, “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members

of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever”.

Colossians 3:20, “Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord”.
1 Timothy 3:5, “For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will

he care for God's church”?

Genesis 2:24, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife,

and they shall become one flesh”.

1 Timothy 5:8, “Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own

household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever”.

Colossians 3:13, “13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a

grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you”.

Colossians 3: 18-20, “18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. 20 Children, obey your parents

in everything, for this pleases the Lord”.

Joshua 24: 15, “But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

Deuteronomy 6:6-7, “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7

Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk

along the road, when you lie down and when you get up”.

Psalm 128, “1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. 2 You will

eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. 3 Your wife will be like a

fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. 4

Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord. 5 May the Lord bless you from

Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. 6 May you live to see

your children’s children— peace be on Israel”.


Church: growth (knowledge of God, spiritually, financially, numerically), new converts,

new members, members of the church, church leadership, church projects

(Tlhahlaganya, infrastructure), Church Auxiliaries: NYI, NMI, NDI, Stewards, and

Trustees. Church unity and spiritual gifts and District.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving

up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all

the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have

the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to

all the others. Romans 12:4-5

For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Corinthians

3Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their

homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of

all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts

2:46-47:9.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your

midst? 1 Corinthians 3:16

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of

Hades will not overcome it. Matthew 16:18

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s

people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and

prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. Ephesians 2:19-20
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another

with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with

gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred,

and you together are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:17

Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was

strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in

numbers. Acts 9:31

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body

of him who is the head, that is, Christ. Ephesians 4:15

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles

in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

Romans 16:17

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread

and to prayer. Acts 2:4

and not holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together

by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God. Colossians 2:19

from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies,

according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the

building up of itself in love. Ephesians 4:16

“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you

must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be not pursuing dishonest gain, but
eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.” 1

Easter Camp: revival of souls, overflow of God’s presence, salvation, travelling’s and

empowerment.

Hebrews 10:25, “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging

Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one

another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in

your hearts to God.”

1 Corinthians 14:26, “What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a

lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.one

another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

National elections: peace, fair elections and leadership.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 - I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and

thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live

peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.


Romans 13:1 - Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority

except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by

God.

Jeremiah 29:7 - Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you

into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.

Job 12:23-25 - He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges nations, and disperses

them.

Unemployment: job seekers, job opportunities, promotions, strength, and courage.

Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and

petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Matthew 6:28, “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow.

They do not labor or spin”.

Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love

him, who have been called according to his purpose”.

Hebrews 11:6, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes

to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”.

Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory

in Christ Jesus.”

Psalm 37:25, “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken

or their children begging bread.”

John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may

have life, and have it to the full”.


Isaiah 3:10, “Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their

deeds.”

Matthew 7: 7-11, “7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it

will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to

the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread,

will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who

are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who

is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!”

Spiritual warfare: praying against ancestral worship & rituals, breaking of generational

curses, attacks of the enemy, nightmares, evil torments, strongholds, and evil altars.

Ephesians 6:10, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full

armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our

struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against

the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be

able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then,

with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in

place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the

flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit,

which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers

and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s

people.”

"Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7
"You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in

you than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4

"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we

fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to

demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against

the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2

vindication is from Me," declares the Lord." Is. 54:17

"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts." Zech. 4:6

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." 2

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the

power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.” Luke 10:19

5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that

stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your
side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe

with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. Ps 91: 5-8

9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10 no

harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his

angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands,

so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the

cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. Ps 91:9-13.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he

acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in

trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him

my salvation. Ps 14-15.

13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of

the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Col 1:13-14

13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made

you[d] alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having cancelled the charge of our

legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it

to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle

of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Col 2: 13-15.

army. For the battle is not yours, but God's." 2 Chron. 20:15

It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every

tongue will acknowledge God. ‘Romans 14:11


“When we belong to Christ, the enemy never has the final word over our lives. We are

secure in God's hands”.

Praise.

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name,

for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things,

things planned long ago. Isaiah 25:1

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.

My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:7

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Psalm 103:1

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalm 145:3

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all

that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor

and glory and power, for ever and ever!” Revelation 5:13

Psalm 95: “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our

salvation. 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 3

For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the depths of

the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his

hands formed the dry land. 6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord

our Maker; 7 for he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.
