Terminology
• Premade - Clips (can also be audios or photos) you make and put up for general sale
• Custom - Clips, audios or photos that you make to order for a specific customer. They know it
costs a premium to order these. You can resell them as premade content afterward. Price
increases with specific requests/fetishes. Often this is charged by a base per minute rate (eg
$5 /$10 per minute with 5 minute minimum) and more charges for each request (specific
outfit or toy, fetish etc)
• Exclusive - Clips, audios or photos that are custom and won’t ever be sold to anyone else. You
can charge at least an extra $100+ for these (or double the custom price)
• Name use - Extra charge for using their name in a custom. If it’s only a couple of times it can
be edited out and you can resell as premade, if it’s too much name use, he should pay the
Exclusive rate.
• Indie - Providing cam services outside of a camsite
• Live show/Cam show - Usually a cam show, may be on a camsite or indie
• Free Chat - Unpaid chat room on camsite where anyone can view the model. Models either
work for tokens or try to get the customers to go into a private show
• Private Chat/Show - Paid show on a camsite, restricted to one or more who have paid
• Platform - An adult website you can use for camming/content/payment of live services
• Token site - Camsite where models perform in free chat for tokens, which are bought by
customers and used as the site’s currency
• Split camming/Splitting - Streaming on more than one camsite at the same time
• Subscription site - Website where subscribers sign up for monthly membership to access your
content (OnlyFans, AVNStars, Fansly etc)
• Customers - Online clients are usually referred to as customers, subscribers or members
depending on the type of platform

1
Types of SW
• Live services
⁃ Cam shows
⁃ Token sites (MFC, Chaturbate), perform live in free chat room, do tip goals,
tip for activity etc (Note: MFC only allows cis female models)
⁃ PPM Sites (Streamate) No below the belt nudity in free chat, customers take
you private to pay by the minute for shows
⁃ Indie/private shows through Skype/Telegram/Discord/Zoom
⁃ Sexting (kik or Telegram) using live pics and/or short clips
⁃ Audio calls
• Content
⁃ Clips (vids)
⁃ Solo, BG, GG sex clips
⁃ Domme/fetish clips
⁃ Dick rates
⁃ Audio
⁃ Photos
⁃ Erotic stories

• Examples
⁃ Person A
⁃ Does camshows on MFC, members can tip for flashes etc, and they also have
tip goals. Tip goals are automatically counted on MFC and each time they
reach a goal, they do it and then put up a new goal. Eg 500tk to topless,
1000tk to nude, 2000tk to cumshow. Sometimes PA records their cumshows
as clips and sells them to members later, and also puts them on MFCShare
and other clipsites for sale. Doesn’t do other live services or premade content.
⁃ Person B
⁃ Advertises sexting on reddit. Customers pay for sexting in blocks of 10
minutes, which includes short clips (30sec-2min) sent from their phone usinf
kik or telegram, PB takes payment through PB’s OnlyFans account. Every day
PB chooses some vids from their sexting sessions and posts some to their
OnlyFans feed for their (paying) subscribers, and some they send as a PTV
(pay to view) to their subscribers to encourage them to sext with PTV on OF.
If they reply, PB keeps sending them PTV vids that they take while they’re
chatting. Doesn’t do premade clip content because they find it too much
hassle.
⁃ Person C
⁃ Mostly makes clips. Posts clips (vids) 5-15min long and aims to do 3 each
week, sells them through several clipsites. Doesn’t offer live services because
they don’t like doing them.
⁃ Person D
⁃ Only does phone sex. Has 3 accounts on NiteFlirt with different photos and
names, and another 3 profiles on TalkToMe. She logs in as ‘available’ on all
their accounts at once and takes calls until they reaches their daily goal, then
logs off.
⁃ Person E
⁃ Works only on Streamate. Logs in for 6 hrs at the same time every day, and
their regulars know that. Sometimes takes photos of themselves while

2
streaming and posts them to twitter with their referral link to encourage
people to sign up, if they sign up with her referral link she gets a higher pay
percentage whenever they spend on the site.
⁃ Person F
⁃ Has accounts on 3 subsciption sites, and makes clips that they sell on several
clip sites. Releases one or two clips to her subscibers each week, and sends
the rest as PTV. Posts selfies or screenshots every day to their subscribers.
They promote their clipsites and subscription sites on twitter, tiktok and
reddit with screenshots, previews and selfies. Occasionally cams on a
camming site, but mainly does that to lure in more customers to her clip
content.
⁃ Flexibility is the biggest advantage to online work. Don’t feel you have to do
everything, or do it the way anyone else is doing it. Try different things and see which
ones feel best for you.

Misc
• Most online work is charged/paid for/paid in USD. That works in our favour when it’s
converted to AUD
⁃ Eg At the time of writing, earning $500 USD converts to $680 AUD but that number
goes up and down.
• Adult sites require you to upload current photo ID to prove your age.
• Due to new mastercard requirements coming in Oct/21 many sites are now also requiring
biometric verification. This involves uploading your ID and having your face scanned by your
phone/laptop camera for comparison.
• Watermark every photo and clip, checking which type of watermark is allowed on the sites
you plan to upload to. Most will allow your performer name.
• Most camsites have a “new model” period where you will get better placement for a short
period of time. Some sites start this when you sign up, others start it when you first broadcast,
so check which it is before signing up to a site so you can plan to take advantage of the new
model placement.
• Some sites have a referral/affiliate link, some for customers, others for models. This is worth
checking so that you can earn more from customers who sign up under your link (eg. post it
with your photos on twitter), or send a model referral link to friends who are going to sign up
to the same sites. Some models will give help/promo to models who sign up under their
referral link.

3
Tech and Equipment
• Handbrake - free software to reduce file size of clips
• Audacity - free software to record and edit audio files
• Canva.com - Online photo editor
• Gimp - Free software similar to photoshop
• OBS Free streaming and Recording software
• Wetransfer.com free file transfer website (alternative to dropbox and google drive)
• Snow app for taking photos or vids with filters on your phone
• Kik and Telegram are the most popular messaging apps for sexting
• Skype, Telegram, Discord are the most popular apps for cam shows
• You can take selfies, promo images, do sext sessions, and even record clips on your phone if
that’s all you have, you don’t need expensive equipment to get started.
• Logitech 920 is the classic starter cam most models use for streaming on camsites.
• LED Ringlight from ebay or amazon is cheap and decent quality.
• Tip toys, such as the Lovense range (regularly discounted on the Lovense site) are teledonics
that can be controlled via your phone. There is software available to link it to your account on
most major camsites and you can adjust the settings so it will vibrate when you are tipped, or
you can give a member a one-time-use link that allows them to control the toy for a period of
time you set. It is anonymous.

Face In/Faceless/Identity
• Decide early if you want to do online work under the same persona as you do real time work.
Some things to consider:
⁃ You may get clients who have seen you in real time paying for online services
⁃ Clients may assume that whatever you do online, you will do in person
⁃ Clients may try to discuss your real time work or making bookings through online
platforms, which could result in losing your account
⁃ Establishing a different persona, would be more work if you already have a following
from real time work
• It is possible to work online without showing face, but less lucrative.
• Vids, cam shows, sexting etc can all be from the neck down, the lips down, or using a mask.
• Some cam sites do not allow faceless/masked camming.
• Even if you’re face out for live services, you can still do content with no face.
• You can be faceless in advertising and upcharge for including face in content or live services.

4
Taboo/Site Restrictions/fetishes
• Because of FOSTA/SESTA any mention of escorting is not allowed on adult sites and will
usually result in a ban if you’re caught. Do not even mention that you have done full service
while using a site’s messaging system. Mute/block any customer who mentions knowing you
from real time work, any who ask about it, don’t engage.
• There are a number of fetishes restricted by mastercard/visa and most adult sites cannot
allow you to engage with them. Always read the TOS of the site to see if the fetish is allowed or
not.
• This is a list of some fetishes and which sites they are allowed/banned on
⁃ https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vuwKN-
yuOJDlLiOa8CyCVA8BMpXg7knCZxS8YgFE98Y/edit#gid=0
• Clients are more likely to ask for taboo fetishes online than in person, be prepared with how to
respond to that if it’s something you find upsetting. Bear in mind some are genuinely looking
for that fetish, others are looking to upset you by asking about it. Don’t give them free abuse/
humiliation sessions in your response, it’s what they want.
• It is much harder to find ways to get paid for taboo work, but if you are comfortable with
doing it, it can be lucrative.
• Keep in mind doing some types of content may put off vanilla customers (eg scat), and some
types of content may be considered controversial (eg raceplay, DDlg), make your own
decisions about whether you want to engage in these or not. Some workers choose to do them
only in exclusive content, don’t advertise it, and don’t include their face for that content.

Getting Paid
• Most sites will have a minimum payment amount that you have to earn before you get paid,
which will vary depending on the payment method. Payment may be weekly, fortnightly, or
monthly.
• Some sites will deposit to Australian bank accounts (AVNStars, Spankpay), but most still
don’t.
• Paxum.com is a payment method that many sites will pay through, you can deposit to your
Australian bank account from Paxum.
• Using an account on a (non-camming) platform and using their tipping feature for clients to
pay you for live services. (Manyvids, IWantClips, Only Fans, AVNStars, etc)
• Boleynmodels.com A daily pay studio for receiving payments from platforms (which you then
transfer through Paxum)
⁃ Check their website for which camsites and clipsites they support.
⁃ Advantages are that they are fast (money is transferred from your platforms daily and
takes 1-2 days to arrive in your paxum.com account), and if the platform is screwing
up people’s payments Boleyn makes sure you get paid without having to deal with
that platform’s customer support.
• Crypto/bitcoin
⁃ btcmarkets.net for cashing out Bitcoin/Crypto to your Aus bank account
⁃ Exodus Wallet for receiving and storing crypto
• Beemit, but most online customers are from outside of Australia and can’t use it.

5
Promotion/Social Media
• Twitter.com
⁃ Currently the most SW tolerant SM site
⁃ Do not put NSFW content in your profile pic or header, you can be banned
⁃ Can post NSFW content and adult links in your feed
• Instagram.com
⁃ Bans explicit content and accounts associated with SW
⁃ May be able to keep an account with SFW content and a link to linktree.com in bio
• tiktok.com
⁃ No explicit content
⁃ Bans SW accounts
⁃ Can’t post links to adult sites, but some have been able to post urls to linktree.com
⁃ Some SWs have success getting subscribers by posting SFW videos before their
accounts are banned (and then they make another)
• Reddit.com
⁃ No advertising real time SW allowed anywhere on the site
⁃ Can promote using photos/gifs in many subreddits, but check the sidebar rules in
each one before posting
⁃ Some subreddits allow sellers to post photos if they don’t mention selling in the post,
others won’t allow anyone whose account mentions selling at all to post
⁃ Popular for selling cam shows, sexting, dick rates, custom videos
⁃ Customers from reddit tend to pay higher rates
⁃ Specific selling subs which require verification such as:
⁃ r/Sexsells
⁃ r/NSFWBuys
⁃ The Dirty Dolls group of subreddits
⁃ More info: https://www.reddit.com/r/SellerCircleStage/
• Pornhub.com
⁃ Some sellers upload either trailers or full videos to pornhub, which are watermarked
so viewers can find where to buy their paid content.
• Discord Servers
⁃ Various servers where customers and sellers can interact
⁃ Some require verification to sell
⁃ Find them through twitter
• Telegram Groups
⁃ Some are for interactions between customers and sellers, but many are for finding
other sellers to do cross promo with
• Kik Groups

6
Safety, Security and Scams
• Consider using a VPN when doing private shows on Skype etc, although IP tracing seems to be
less accurate in Aus than the US (In the US IP tracing can sometimes be accurate down to the
street level). Make your own decision about the risk levels.
• Turn off location data for your camera in your phone, strip the metadata/exif data from
photos and vids before sending through messaging apps. Most platforms and social media will
strip it for you, but it’s best to check which ones do.
• Make sure your domain name is privacy protected (free with namecheap) so your contact
details aren’t public
• Make sure you have accounts with your work name for any payment or tech apps (Skype,
Discord, Telegram, Kik etc), never use your personal accounts
• Do not post the same photos to your personal social media as you use for work accounts, even
if your personal accounts are set to private.
• If you can afford a separate work phone, only install work apps and work SM on there. If you
have to use your personal phone, be careful of SM and messenging apps trying to access the
contacts on your phone, do not allow them access, they have been known to suggest your work
accounts to your contacts who also have those apps.
• Protect your accounts and payment methods by learning the rules of each site you use and
don’t break them unless you’re willing to risk losing your account (and not being able to sign
up again).
⁃ Examples
⁃ Most sites will ban for allowing a customer to pay through a different site, so
do not allow them to discuss that on the site
⁃ Most sites for online work will ban you for mentioning that you do real time
SW, or talking to clients about it (even if that’s how they found you)
⁃ Check the site’s banned content in their TOS and don’t advertise that you’re
providing that content
⁃ Some sites allow you to link your social media (MFC), others will ban for
giving out social or other contact methods (Streamate)
⁃ Check what kind of watermark you can use on content (if any)
⁃ Some websites ban accounts for having pets in the background when
camming (Streamate)
• Some subreddits, discord servers etc will ask for verification to prove you are both over 18 and
also the performer you claim to be (not a catfish selling someone else’s content). This should
not include your real name, ID (unless they allow you block out your name and address), or
nude photos.
• Do not do photo “verification” for customers, especially specific poses where you hold up
certain fingers, hold signs with your name and/or subreddit names or discord servers, or say
specific phrases. This can be used by them to catfish their way into SW spaces or to scam
other clients by catfishing as you. Instead, link them to your ID verified profiles on adult sites
(camsites, clipsites etc). Legit clients rarely ask for verification.
• Do not allow customers to pay by buying amazon wishlist items, they can cancel the order
before it ships, after they get what they wanted.
• Amazon wishlists don’t always keep the delivery name/address private when items are
ordered from third party vendors.
• Beware of customers pretending to tip/take private on camsites by typing or posting
screenshots that look like they have paid. Most sites have an alert sound when you are tipped
or go private. Check your earnings window each time until you’re confident you know how to
spot it.
• Be aware that Paypal is not safe for adult services, customers can get refunds, and Paypal can
shut down your account and keep your funds. Customers asking for this are usually

7
scammers.
• Some platforms don’t cover chargebacks, so customers can pay for a service and then take
their money back. Check the chargeback policy of the platform before using it to take payment
for live services and decide if you’re willing to take the risk.
• White labels/studios. Streamate (and some other sites) allow affiliates to set up white label
sites. They call themselves another name and use Steamate’s feed, and models who sign up
through the white label lose a percentage of their earnings to the studio without gaining any
benefits. If they leave they usually have to wait for 12 months before signing up to Streamate
with their own account. Before signing up to a site, check for their name on stripperweb.com
to see if they really are a separate cam site. If you can’t find them on stripperweb.com, odds
are that they are a studio. Be particularly wary of a studio that is currently recruiting Aus
models and claiming to be part of Streamate.
• Twitter/social media promo accounts. If they want to promote you, let them, but it’s not
worthwhile to pay them or give them free content in exchange for promo. The larger accounts,
most of their followers are fake/bot accounts they have paid for.
• Do not pay for consults/courses/promo groups about how to do online SW from other online
SWs unless they are someone whose brand you are familiar with and feel they will benefit you.
There are many newish models claiming to be experts but really making most of their income
from selling advice to other models.
