Procedure:

Get an empty usb drive (at least 8GB)

Download windows media creation tool

Run media creation tool


To install, plug in the usb drive and boot up your pc

If it fails to boot to your usb drive, go into bios and change the boot drive to your usb drive.
2. How to install windows 10
Step 1: Download Windows Installation Media
1. On your working PC, open a web browser and go to the official Microsoft website.
2. Navigate to the Windows installation media creation tool download page.
3. Download the tool and run it.
Step 2: Create Windows Installation Media
1. Insert the blank USB drive into a USB port on your working PC.
2. Launch the Windows installation media creation tool.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your preferred language, edition, and
architecture of Windows.
4. Choose the option to create installation media for another PC.
5. Select USB flash drive as the media type.
6. Choose the USB drive you inserted earlier and click "Next."

7. The tool will begin downloading Windows files and creating the installation media on the
USB drive. This process may take some time depending on your internet connection speed.

Step 3: Prepare Your New PC


1. Turn off your new PC.
2. Insert the USB drive containing the Windows installation media into a USB port on the new
PC.
3. Turn on your new PC and enter the BIOS or UEFI settings. You can usually access this by
pressing a specific key during the boot-up process, such as F2, F10, or Del. Refer to your
PC's manual for the exact key.

4. In the BIOS/UEFI settings, navigate to the boot order or boot priority settings.
5. Set the USB drive as the first boot device.
6. Save the changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI settings. Your PC will now boot from the USB drive.

Step 4: Install Windows


1. The PC will boot from the USB drive and display the Windows installation wizard.

2. Select your language, time and currency format, and keyboard or input method preferences,
then click "Next."
3. Click "Install Now" to begin the installation process.
4. Enter your Windows product key when prompted.
5. Accept the license terms and click "Next."
6. Choose the type of installation you want (usually "Custom: Install Windows only
(advanced)").
7. Select the drive or partition where you want to install Windows and click "Next."

Search workstation 16 pro on your browser and click on the vmware download website link.

Click on “Download Now” and then “Save file”.


Run the downloaded file.

A setup wizard will pop up. Click on next


Accept all the terms and conditions in the license agreement

Select reinstallation destination and additional features


Click on finish. (or license if you want to enter activation key)

Icon will appear on desktop. Double click to run


Enter the license key or choose the free 30-day trial version.
5. how to install kali linux in VMware Workstation Pro 16
VMWARE DOWNLOAD:

1)Download vmware workstation 17 player from the following link:

2)If on a windows pc download Workstation 17 player for windows.

3)Click on download now.

4)now the vmware application will be seen in your downloads.

5) double click the download .

4)the application will open.

6) go through all the options terms and conditions and then click on install.
7)now click on finish.

KALI LINUX ISO IMAGE DOWNLAOD :

2)open the kali linux website from the following link.

3)go on the installer option and then install the installer image (64-bit).

SETTING UP:

1)Go on vmvare and create a new virtual machine.

2)chose the guest operating system version ( Debian 11.s 64-bit)

3)Now select folder and allocate disk size.

5)split virtual disk on multiple files.

6)now customize the hardware i.e a lot memory, processors

7)after youre done with the hardware configuration click on close and then click on finish

8)right click go on the settings and allocate the name of virtual machine.
9)go to settings go to cd and select the iso image and select the iso image you’ve downloaded.

10)click on display virtual machine.

11)select language location configure youre keyboard.

12)select name and password

13)select software selection go for default configuration.

14)it’ll install the grub boot loader select the second option and click on continue.
Now a log in page with appear enter your username and password and youre good to go.
