II. Orientation activity: Paint Your Own Rainbow Activity
To paint your own rainbow means that “you reach for your goals; that you are independent; a free thinker; above peer pressure.” To inspire the students to reach for their dreams, the students have their goals onto a colored butterfly cutout and place here on the board as a reminder to keep working toward their dreams. (Each student will get a butterfly; they are going to write their quarterly goal on its wings. After each quarter, students who achieved their written goal will receive a merit. (All written goals will be monitored if reasonable)) III. School Rules Review: Let students raise their hand and discuss or recite one school rule that they remember. IV. Homeroom rules 1. Be Quiet 2. Stay on your seat and sit properly (all bags on the floor) 3. Raise your hand (always ask permission before talking) 4. Be Respectful (give your respect to everybody, teachers, classmates, canteen and school staff, parents and visitors) 5. Do your BEST! (consistency following rules, studies, cleanliness) V. TLE Room Rules 1. Always wear your apron and hairnet when preparing food 2. Bring 2 white hand towel and 2 round rags. 3. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside the TLE room. 4. Log in and surrender your ID to MS. Sagun when borrowing any kitchen tools before using/borrowing, clean and dry tools before returning to designated area. 5. Clean TLE room before leaving (each group must have their own cleaning materials) 6. NO hairnet and apron no cooking. Other Classroom Procedures:
1. Entering the room; students must:
a. Enter the room quietly b. Put belongings to their assigned shelves or desk (bags on the floor) c. Prepare needed thing for the whole day (no borrowing policy will be strictly followed, even with your siblings. Your should have your own supply ready with you) d. Blue book must be on the top of your desk daily and signed newsletter every Tuesday. 2. Flag ceremony: a. Wait for the bell’s ring for flag ceremony (Monday-court, Tuesday-classroom, Weds to Fri- Auditorium) b. Bring your Bible, Clear book, ESP/devotion notebook and ballpen c. Always fall in line (boys and girls); find your height d. When singing our national anthem, stand straight and put your hand on the left part of your chest. No talking and no unnecessary movements) e. After flag ceremony, don’t break your line and enter the room quietly. Do not run. 3. Walking in the hallway together: a. Always fall in line, (boys and girls) find your height. b. While walking, always keep to the right. c. Walk quietly. Carry your feet d. Go back to your room quietly and orderly e. Avoid destruction to your neighboring rooms 4. Breaks: Merienda and lunch: a. Bring all needed things for break b. Assigned leader will pray for the food c. Line up and walk quietly d. Lights and fans off when leaving the room e. Lock the door f. Use your break for eating, drinking, going to CR. 5. Eating and buying in the canteen: a. Fall in line and wait for your turn in buying b. Eat in your designated area only. c. After eating be sure to clean up your mess and throw your trash in the trash bin. d. Going back to classroom: line up and follow your line leader, walk quietly and orderly in the hallway 6. Test and quiz procedure: a. Put your things under your desk or where the teacher tells you b. Prepare for test; prepare all needed supplies (pen, paper, calculator. Test folders etc.) c. Make sure to write your full name and the date on your test paper 7. Write in cursive every time 8. Passing papers: a. Pass your paper forward, your paper on top without talking and standing b. Students in front will pass their papers to the center. Teacher will get the test paper from the student. 9. Dismissal a. Copy your homework (copy your homework ahead of time to avoid cramming during dismissal) b. Prepare the things needed for dismissal c. Clean your desk and shelves d. Line up, show your blue book with your written homework before leaving the room. e. Lights and fan off. 10. Reciting your verse: a. Every end of the month you will receive your monthly verse with the monthly song for chapel hour. b. Recite your verses every Monday to get the highest possible grade of 100 with 5 allowable mistakes. c. Unrecited verses every Friday will be graded 70 but the students still needs to recite his/her verse d. .

a. Do not stand up and roam around the classroom b. Do not talk to your seatmate c. Always make your reading book ready d. Do your assigned tasks and works in advance or ahead of time. e. Submit your work on or before due dates. Any late work will be graded 70. No late work will be accepted (but still students are required to submit assigned task) 12. Devotion time: a.
