Thank you for choosing Shorebreak hostel. We are the newest hip hostel nestled in a quiet street of Urbiztondo San Juan,
La Union.

A 2-3 minutes walk to the beach and an interesting array of coffee shops and famous bars and restaurants. Everything that
matters is within walking distance.

We are pleased to welcome you to our humble hostel! Your booking has been confirmed.

Your check in date is (April 22, 2022) and check out date is (April 24, 2022).

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICIES

ARRIVAL
No Mask No Entry Policy.
Check-in time is after 2pm. If you arrive earlier, we are pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready. Early check-
in depends on availability and rates are available upon request.
We would appreciate for advising us if you expect to arrive after 6.00 pm. Please remember that we are running with a
skeleton staff during COVID-19 pandemic and do not have a 24-hour reception (although staff are available 24 hrs. for any
emergency).

All Guests are required to fill out a health declaration form to be submitted within 24hrs of arrival. We have an automatic
thermal scanner that will check if your temperature is normal. Otherwise, guests should voluntarily get an antigen test. If
tested positive, we have to refuse entry to protect our team members and other guests.

Registered guests are required to present a valid ID.

A deposit of Php 500/head will be collected upon check-in. This shall be refunded upon return of key card and ac remote
during check-out.

Your allocated key card to your room and ac remote control will be handed to you upon check-in at the Front Desk. Penalty
applies for losing or failing to return the items upon check-out, so just make sure you keep it safe!

DEPARTURE
Check-out is prior to 11:30am. If you require later check-out, please inform the front desk before 10am on the day of
departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee. Rates apply.
Any delay on check-out will result to a late check-out fee or an extra night.
All security deposit will be refunded considering there is no damage or missing items reported including room key card.

CHILDREN
Children and infants may not stay in any room without an adult.
Persons aged over 7 years will be charged an extra person.
Extra person rates 1000PHP per night
Children below 7 years of age may stay free of charge if using existing beds and linen and not exceeding the maximum
capacity of the given room type.

PETS
We are pet-friendly and welcome dogs up to 25 kilos in select rooms. Our pet policy is available upon request. Pet fee
applies.

PAYMENT METHODS
For prepaid reservations, you have to pay in advance by online bank transfer, over-the-counter-banking, e-wallet or PayPal.
For walk-ins, you can pay cash upon arrival.

CANCELLATIONS
All bookings are non-refundable.
If you cancel 30 days before your arrival, an option to rebook will be given without a fee within 3 months.
If you cancel at least 14 days before arrival, you will be given an option to rebook your stay within 2 months with a fee of
20% of your total reservation.
If you cancel 13 days-6days before arrival, an option to rebook your stay within 2 months with a fee of 30% of your total
reservation.
If guests arrive and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refundable.
GENERAL POLICIES

VISITORS
Due COVID-19 pandemic, only registered guest are allowed on hostel premises.
Roof Terrace access is reserved for registered hostel guests and registered visitors only, with the exception of organized
Special Events, when stated accordingly.
Access is prohibited during Resting Hours (0000-0600), as Shorebreak Hostel is located in an urban residential area. Please
respect the neighborhood by keeping down all kinds of noise when appropriate.

SMOKING
We do not permit smoking within our guest rooms, bathrooms, toilets, shower room and other common areas. There are
ample outdoor areas throughout the property away from the building where smoking is permitted. A deep cleaning fee of
5000php will be charged where smoking occurs within a guest room.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

Illicit drugs of any kind will not be allowed or tolerated in the hostel. Guests found with any drug paraphernalia will be
immediately asked to leave the hostel. Proper authorities will be called if guests are unwilling to leave.
Consuming excessive amount of alcohol within the premises of the hostel is strictly prohibited.

DISTURBANCES
Please keep the noise down between 23:00 to 8:00 in the morning. If a guest became a public nuisance, the hostel has the
right to refuse service and even call the proper authorities to escort them off the premises, if guest refuses to leave.

DAMAGES
An additional clean up fee for any extra labor incurred as a result of unreasonable mess left by a guest will be assessed and
charged accordingly.
Damage to rooms, fixtures and furnishing will be charged 120% of full and new replacement value. Damage to mattresses
and linen including towels, mattress pads, sheets, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc.
will result in charge for the special cleaning or replacement of the damaged item.
Any damage to the hostel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each
particular room.

PARKING
Shorebreak Hostel has a limited number of parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis

VALUABLES
The Hostel is not responsible for any stolen or lost items.
Forgotten things will be kept for 30 days, after that time they will be handed over to local
charitable/humanitarian/ecological organizations, depended on the forgotten thing.

FORCE MAJEUR
The hostel is unable to accept any liability where the booking could not be fulfilled due to natural disasters, malfunction of
the facility and/or circumstances which we could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such events may
include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, strikes or other industrial dispute,
natural disaster, fire, act of God, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, closure of airports, ports
and/or ferries, quarantine, epidemics, pandemics, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our
control or any other emergency of a comparable nature beyond our control that in each case make it illegal or impossible
to perform its obligations under this agreement.

I agree with the above terms and conditions. I will take full responsibility as the main registered guest.
