The Positive Leisure Organisation (PoLO) has commissioned a study to determine the influence
of a variety of television series on Nigerian society. You are the M&E official to the programme.
As part of your duties you have been tasked with a small side-line project, namely to analyse a
subset of the World Values Survey (WVS), which will give the programme management some
idea of the role of television in Nigerian society. The WVS is an on-going academic project that
assesses the state of socio-cultural, moral, religious, and political values of different cultures
around the world. Use the IS Practical Pivot Table.xlsx find an extract of the data (for the year
2014) for Nigeria (Television.xls). The dataset consists of 1 731 respondents and 14 variables.
The variables are explained on the next page.
