§ Kindness towards animals (Dialogue in Owlbear cave. Pet Scratch. At the Blighted Village where there's the gnome
stuck on the windmill and the goblins. Ask goblins what they're doing there, do the persuasion check.)
§ Avoiding unnecessary violence where possible with persuasion or manipulation
§ Showing distrust towards the Gith
§ Fighting against oppression and wealth
§ Allowing her to be faithful to Shar where possible
§ Exposing lies
§ Aiding the less fortunate
§ Show mercy where you can, including stopping the Tieflings from killing Sazza.
§ Don't force her to do stuff she doesn't want, like sharing too much stuff etc. However, she also rewards curiosity,
so the player can still get be rewarded for picking options that show curiosity.
§ Don't judge her.
§ Don’t get involved in things that aren't your problem (like brothers who are looking for their sister)
§ Don’t humiliate others
§ Actions that help others are something that Shadowheart likes.
§ Shadowheart approves of actions done out of self-interest.
§ She likes Charisma/Deception/Persuasion/Religion/Insight checks. Basically, resolve situations smoothly. She likes
when you are not TOO kind, for example: if you save someone make sure to ask for payment.
§ Shadowheart likes Karlach so helping her usually gives Shart approval.
§ Save the gnome at Blighted Village and ask for payment.
§ Make the Zentharim pay you or split the loot if you save them from the gnolls
§ Thievery. Actions that involve stealing from others are something that Shadowheart likes seeing.
§ Secrecy, Stealth, and Deceit. Shadowheart proficient in these things.
Events:
§ Save her from the Nautiloid
§ Talk to her immediately, don't be too pushy
§ Exhaust all dialogue options
§ Decline Lae'zel in immediate party after rescue
§ Go to camp, agree with SH you need to find a healer
Emerald Grove:
§ In Zevlor vs Merc argue at the enterance, choose Intimidation
§ Persuade Kagha to release the Arabella
§ If Shadowheart afraids of wolfs at Kagha’s room, talk to her and tell her you'll avoid wolves
§ Talk to Kagha, tell her she was just protecting her own
§ There is bird and its nest in the garden of Kagha’s room. Talk with the bird, persuade it
§ Talk to Nettie, swear you'll take the poison if you change
§ Talk to Zorru, tell Lae'Zel to stand down
Blighted Village:
§ Kill mother Owlbear, spare the baby
§ Read the Selune Prayer in front of chest at Owlbear cave, tell SH you'll leave it
§ Press SH about what she's hiding, tell her you don't care who she worships
§ Ask about her painful hand, see if you can help her with it
§ Ask to get to know her better, tell her to point out night orchids
§ Go to camp & rest until you get SH wine scene
§ Wine scene exhaust all dialogue options
§ When she shares wolf memory, tell her thanks for sharing
§ Pass Persuasion on her hand pain
§ In Blighted Village, detect thoughts on deep gnome encounter, convince him to leave
§ When devil man shows up, choose all options about you don’t trust him. After devil is gone, talk with SH and say
that you don’t trust devil, she will ask same question twice to be sure about you
Goblin Camp:
§ Enter Shattered Sanctum, ask Halsin to join us
§ Animal Handling baby owlbear and tell it to come to camp

§ When Lae'Zel attacks you at night, succeed Medicine/Persuasion
Riverside Teahouse:
§ Hag encounter: accuse Ethel then say you have your own problems
§ Talk to Lorin (Drow in Hag) and roar at him when he is scared
The Risen Road:
§ Keep Wyll & Karlach, tell Wyll that she poses no threat when they clash
§ When Mizora appears in camp, tell her she won't lay a finger on Karlach
§ When SH faces Lae'Zel, support SH but be careful, SH would kill Lae’zel
Tip from a Reddit User: Also, make sure to long rest and explore more for dialogue prompts and to be in more
situations where you have a chance to get her approval. In my case, during camp dialogues I tend to reload a lot cause
I wanna see which options give me approval.
