RESOLUTION No. 2022-05
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JAMIL R. METRAN AS CHILD REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE BARANGAY
COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN (BCPC) OF BARANGAY CABINGTAN, ORMOC CITY.
WHEREAS, Article, 359 and 360 of Civil Code of the Philippines provides that the Government shall establish
Councils for Protection of Children;
WHEREAS, Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) is a committee in charge in the planning,
implementing activities and addressing issues pertaining to children;
WHEREAS, Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) comprises members of the community
which includes a child representative who will represent the children sector;
WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children brought to the Barangay
Cabingtan Council the appointment of Jamil R. Rivera, as the Child’s Representative for the BCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of SB Member, Committee on Social Services Hipolito G. Nazario, and
seconded by all council members present, be it:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JAMIL R. METRAN AS CHILD
REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN (BCPC) OF
BARANGAY CABINGTAN, ORMOC CITY.
