OVERVIEW
Fantastic Light Armored Personnel Carrier Solutions from Shell Special Vehicles LLC. Our APCs can
be configured to carry up to 6 crew members plus it provides ample space for the driver and a
commander while being one of the light-weighted APCs in its category. In addition, there is enough
room for tactical gear too. Our APCs are based on the undeniable legacy of the TLC 70 series / Ford F
series chassis that provide the rock-solid foundation for what is the ultimate vehicle of choice when it
comes to reliability, durability, and ease of maintenance that are mission-critical elements for working
in the world's harshest conditions. The durability of this 4x4 is surpassed only by its breath-taking
payload capacity that is effortlessly propelled by a 4.6 L / 6.7 L engine. It can crawl over or dig through
challenging terrains. Custom fitted leaf springs with an engineered suspension system and OEM-based
dash provide agile driving dynamics to this beast. You have a personnel carrier that is tougher than
tough and customizable to any mission requirement because of the desert-race-inspired coil springs and
shock absorbers, and a heavy dose of a go-anywhere attitude.
The military units and their artillery support can easily equip our LAPC with multi-purpose weapon
systems. Remotely controlled weapon modules are great options. Typical examples are 7.62 mm and
12.7 mm machine guns. Recommended for Cross-Country Patrol, Border Security, and Personnel
Movement Situations. Installation of active and passive protection units on the vehicle is relatively easy.
Peace support missions can also benefit from the protection it offers in conflict zones, especially in
Africa and Middle East on the other hand. Our APCs keep heavily dressed troops from overheating in
high temperatures of deserts using powerful air-conditioners with a special coating that acts as a

ARMOR CONVERSION MODIFICATION / ALTERATIONS
Five side armoring of passenger compartment (roof and verticals) to provide protection in
accordance with CEN-B6 Level.
Floor of the vehicle is designed to defeat two DM51 hand grenades (German norm) detonated
simultaneously.
Ballistic steel interior frame provides overlap and backup protection for the large-surface
principal impact areas such as the doors and windows.
Some OEM vehicle features/equipment may be removed or disabled to accommodate for the
installation of the armoring materials and other equipment required as a part of the armoring

GLASS
A combination of glass, polycarbonate and Mylar are bonded together using the latest
technology, producing
one of the finest transparent armors available while incorporating the following qualities:

INTERIOR
All original OEM interior panels and trim will be resized or modified and re-installed
wherever possible to obtain as close to an original look as possible
RUN FLAT SYSTEM
Dynamic System made of 2 or 3 antiballistic composite segments bolted around the wheel rim
which remain fixed on the rim when the tyre is fully inflated but slip anticlockwise to the
forward rotation of the tyre and wheel when the tyre is deflated, compensating for the
difference in diameters between the tyres (inflated and deflated) on each side ofthe axle.
A 3-segment System designed and manufactured to cover 50 km on road (3km at escape
speed up to 90km/h, 10km at 50km/h and 37km at 25km/h) or 40 km off road at 20 km/h in
deflated mode.

ELECTRICAL
All electrical equipment standards to this vehicle shall be tested and modified as necessary to
protect against the armoring process.
Any additional (optional) electric equipment installed on the vehicle shall be individually
fused; all wires are loomed and clearly marked, as required by vehicle safety standards
SUSPENSION & BRAKING SYSTEM
The Heavy duty Shock Absorber range is 100% designed and engineered with sensitive
damping and our exclusively engineered valve with Teflon banded piston, to improve the
ride, handling and safety characteristics of the vehicle.
Slotted routers and heavy-duty brake pads for the better performance.

WARRANTY AND AFTER SALES SERVICE
Shell Special Vehicles warrants any armor related items installed, and conversion related custom
workmanship, including transparent armor, for the period of 1 years or 20,000km, whichever comes
first. Any suspected warranty related work must first be confirmed as being necessary by means of
technical consultation with a representative of Shell Special vehicles.
PRICING
USD: 102,000.00 / Unit
PAYMENT TERMS
80% of the contract value to be paid at the time of order, 20% upon completion and
acceptance of the work, prior to delivery.
Price quoted ex-works RAK, UAE; shipment will be arranged upon request. Freight charges
will be extra.
DELIVERY
12 units will be ready for delivery within 60 working days from confirmation of the order.
VALIDITY / LAWS / LIABILITY & DAMAGES / DOCS
15 Days from the date of the issue
General Terms and Conditions of Business apply. Completed vehicles remain the property of
Shell Special
Vehicles until receipt of full payment.
UAE law is applicable
Any future liability to the buyer/third party under this contract will be limited to the warranty
terms. Seller will not be liable for any other future claims. Any disputes as be as per UAE
