BRIGADA ESKWELA ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
S.Y. 2015-2016
Based from the DepEd Memo No. 41, s. 2015 the Department of education will
conduct Brigada Eskwela also known as the National Schools Maintenance Week from
May 18-23, 2015 with the theme: “Tayo Para sa Kalinisan at Kahandaan ng Ating mga
Paaralan”
School Kick-Off for Brigada Eskwela was done on May 18, 2015. This is now the
sign that formal classes will be resuming soon.
On the Second Day until the fifth day of Brigada Eskwela the parents and pupils
started cutting branches of trees to prevent danger to electric wirings especially to the
pupils. They cleaned and uprooted of wild grasses in the school grounds. The Barangay
officials mowed the tall grasses on the lawn and around the school, some parents
inspected and repaired damage windows, pupil’s chairs and tables were also repainted.
While the teacher organized, set-up classroom condusive for learning, classified
and segregated books per subject ready for distribution, lesson plans was also
prepared for the start of classes on June 1, 2015.
And on the sixth day, conducted the school based closing program on Brigada
Eskwela. Certificates were awarded to all the parents and stakeholders who took part
on the Brigada Eskwela’s success. Implementation of Brigada Eskwela at Cabaritan
Elementary School was absolutely a successful one.

Based from the DepEd Memo No. 41, s. 2015 the Department of education will
conduct Brigada Eskwela also known as the National Schools Maintenance Week from
May 30 to June 4, 2016, with the theme “ Tayo Para sa Paaralang Ligtas. Maayos at
Handa Mula Kindergarten Hanggang Senior High School“ .
School Kick-Off for Brigada Eskwela was done on May 30, 2016. This is now the
sign that formal classes will be resuming soon.

Based from the DepEd Memo No. 43, s. 2017 the Department of education will
conduct Brigada Eskwela 2017” with the theme, “ Isang DepEd, Isang Bayanihan para sa
Handa at Ligtas na Paaralan” from May 15- 20, 2017.
School Kick-Off for Brigada Eskwela was done on May 15, 2017. This is now the
sign that formal classes will be resuming soon.
In compliance with the DepEd Order 323,s,2017, the annual National week also
known as Brigada Eskwela. This long week program focuses on doing minor school
maintenance. Through this program, all people involve from walks of life rendered their
free services , and performed specific work assigned to them.
In our school here are some different activities were undertaken such as:
1. Cleaning of school grounds
2. Trimming of hedge tress and tall grasses
3. Washing of curtains/table cloth
4. Repairing of windows, table and chairs of pupils
5. Repainting of set furnitures in the classroom and table/chairs of pupils
6. Setting of classrooms and preparing needed documents, material
7. Inspection of wiring for the safety of the pupils
