SCENE 1 - SHREK SWAMP
Ext. Swamp - Day
Shrek and Fiona are preparing a big birthday party for Genjibre. Donkey is running around, trying to help.
SHREK (Watching Donkey run) Donkey, you don't need to run so fast! We just need a cake.
DONKEY (Excited) Yes, yes, but it has to be the best cake ever! It's for Gingerbread!
Suddenly, Pinocchio comes running up, waving his arms in the air.
PINOCHIO (Worried) Shrek, Shrek! The cake is gone!
FIONA (Surprised) Disappeared? How can a cake disappear?
PINOCHO (Pointing with his nose) I swear! It was there a moment ago, and now.... poof!
SHREK (Frustrated) Oh, great! Who would be so dastardly as to steal a cake?
Just then, the Three Little Pigs come running in, panting from exertion.
THE THREE PIGS (In chorus) We saw it! It was Lord Farquaad!
SHREK (Surprised) Farquaad? But he's shorter than pie!
DONKEY (Laughing) Maybe he needs a step to see him!

SCENE 2 - LORD FARQUAAD'S CASTLE
Int. Throne Room - Day
Lord Farquaad sits on his throne, laughing malevolently as he looks at the missing cake.
LORD FARQUAAD (Evil) Finally, the perfect cake for me! No one will ignore me at my feast of.... uh,
whatever!
The Magic Mirror lights up and looks at him sarcastically.
MAGIC MIRROR (Sarcastically) Oh, yeah, because stealing cakes will really make you popular.
LORD FARQUAAD (Angrily) Silence, little mirror! This cake is my ticket to recognition.

SCENE 3 - ON THE WAY TO THE CASTLE
Forest Extension - Day
Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and the Three Little Pigs are on their way to the castle. They meet Robin Hood and his
men, who are practicing archery.
ROBIN HOOD (Waving) Hello, folks! Where are you going in such a hurry?
SHREK (Determined) We're going to retrieve a stolen pie - Farquaad's got it!
ROBIN HOOD (Laughing) Farquaad stealing pies? That sounds like a Pinocchio story.
PINOCHIO (Indignant) It's true! And it's not a lie!
ROBIN HOOD (Amused) Well, count me in, then. Come on, boys!

SCENE 4 - ARRIVAL AT THE CASTLE
Ext. Farquaad Castle - Day
The group arrives at the castle, where the Dragoness is waiting outside, guarding the entrance.
DRAGON (Coquettish upon seeing Donkey) Hello, my brave Donkey!
BURRO (Smiling nervously) Hi, Dragoness! Will you let us in? We've got a cake to retrieve!
The Dragoness sighs and makes way for them.
DRAGONA (Smiling) Only because it's you, Donkey.

SCENE 5 - CONFRONTATION WITH FARQUAAD
Int. Throne Room - Day
Shrek and the group burst into the throne room. Farquaad, surprised, hides behind the cake.
SHREK (Loudly) Give us back the cake, Farquaad!
LORD FARQUAAD (Defensively) Never! It's mine!
Genjibre, who has been following the group, rushes in.
GENJIBRE (Angrily) That's my birthday cake!
LORD FARQUAAD (Sarcasm) Oh, it's your birthday? How sad!
The Big Bad Wolf enters slowly, smiling slyly.
FEROUS WOLF (Quietly) Why don't we share the cake?
SHREK (Confident) Or you can do it the hard way.

SCENE 6 - FINAL BATTLE
Ext. Castle Courtyard - Day
A chaotic but comical battle breaks out. Farquaad runs around the courtyard with the cake, while Shrek, Fiona,
Donkey, Pinocchio, the Three Little Pigs, Robin Hood and the Big Bad Wolf chase him. The Dragoness
launches a flare that hits no one, but causes Farquaad to drop the cake.
DONKEY (Shouting) The cake!
Shrek catches the cake in mid-air just in time. Farquaad falls into a puddle of mud, furious and defeated.
LORD FARQUAAD (Angrily) This isn't over, ogre!
SHREK (Laughing) Oh, yes it is. Come on, boys, let's get back to the party!

SCENE 7 - SHREK'S SWAMP
Ext. Swamp - Night
The party is in full swing. All the characters are dancing and enjoying the cake. Genjibre is delighted with his
party.
GENJIBRE (Happy) Thank you all for the best birthday party ever!
SHREK (Smiling) All because of you, Genjibre.
DONKEY (With a mouthful of cake) Yes, and the cake is delicious!
Fiona and Shrek look at each other, sharing a satisfied smile as everyone celebrates.
FIONA (Pleased) Who would have thought a cake could cause such a fuss?
SHREK (Laughing) In our world, anything is possible.
The camera zooms out as everyone laughs and celebrates under the moonlight.
