De Guzman: Good morning, everyone!

We are group 4 and today we are going to present our


advertisement using a propaganda technique, which is bandwagon, glittering generalities, and name
calling.

Equibal: But before we start our advertisement let’s first define what is bandwagon, glittering
generalities, and name calling.

Guzman: Bandwagon is a propaganda technique used in reference to an activity, cause, etc. that is currently
fashionable or popular and attracting increasing support.

De Guzman: Now let’s define what are glittering generalities. A glittering generality is an emotionally
appealing phrase so closely associated with highly valued concepts and beliefs that it carries
conviction without supporting information or reason.
Equibal: And the last one is name calling. Name calling is a propaganda technique where a form
of argument in which insulting or demeaning labels are directed at an individual or group.

a stained area in rubbing alcohol for several minutes. Follow this up by washing the garment.

De Guzman: • Removing stickers. If your little one went a little overboard with the stickers, try saturating
the sticker with rubbing alcohol. Wait 10 minutes and you should be able to more easily wipe the sticker
away.
