GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
AMIBRITE 100 is a uniquely formulated liquid product designed to
produce a bright finish on various stainless steels, Kovar & other
high nickel alloys by- a. simple immersion process. AMI BRITE 100
brightens, polishes and passivates stainless st�els without
significantly altering close tol�rances on the parts. Metal loss
is minimum and there is no!hydrogen embrftt1ement.
AMIBRITE 100 is widely used in HE.RMETIC SEALS, stainless steel
TUBES, VACUUM CHAMBE�S, AEROSPACE CASTINGS, electronic componeMts,
electronic controls, T0-5, T0-8 and a wide array of industries.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
PRE-TREATMENT:
To remove oils, greas�·ind fingerprints,' the parts should first be
thorough 1 y c 1 eaned·. Use SUR-FIN #66 or #33 for best resu 1 ts. · If
pa:rts have scales ,Qr oxides, they should be removed prior to using
AMIBRITE 100. For ·removing scales or oxides, use SUR-FIN #120 and
#127. See individu�l data sheets on these produ6ts.
BR1'3HT DIPPING:
Use AMI BRITE 100 "as is" in a polyp·ropylene, fiberglass or similar
acid resistant tank. H�at the solution to 130' F to 200' F using
quartz or tef l on· coated heaters. The baskets also shou 1 d be made
up of similar acid resistant material.
Immerse parts for 1 to 10 minutes ,or until desired results
are obtained. Rinse_ and dry with a ho� air blast.
:fyp I CAL CYCLE:
1. CLEANING: Use Sur�Fin #66 or #33 at 8 to 12 oz per gallon of
water for 5 to 10 minutes or until clean.
2. Rinse with water�
