I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content The learner demonstrates understanding of attitude, emotions,

mentioned the use of mirror. Where do we
use the mirror? (to see our whole body)

“mirror”? (m) who can come infront and
write the letter Mm? Who can produce the
sound of the letter Mm?
Listen as I say the word mirror.
Let’s produce the sound /Mm/ (mmmm….)
This time, I have here pictures (let them
say the name of the pictures monkey,
money, mango, moon, milk and map, mat,
mop.
Let us produce the beginning sound of
each name of the picture.

sound /m/.
Let us learn how to write the big and small

Activity: Poster of words that begin with Mm.
Matetrials: ¼ cartolina sized outline of the
letter mm for each learner, colored markers,
crayons
Procedure:
1. Show the letter outline to the learners and
ask them to identify the letter and produce
its sound.
2. Give the cut-out word cards to the learners
and let them choose the word cards that
begins with letter Mm.
3. Ask the learners to paste the cut-out word
cards inside the outline of the letter.
4. Assist the learners in pasting the cut out
pictures.
Independent Activities:

This time I have here a worksheet for
you to work on.
before we make our activity, what are

Group 1-Finger Painting (Mm) Constructivist/

Procedure:
1. On a piece of 2’x3’ craft paper. Write
the outline of the letters Mm in the
upper and lowercase.
2. Give the learners a poster color in a
cup/plate, and let them dip their finger
and paint the outline letter Mm
3. Ask the learners to say the letter name
and sound.

Materials: paper mounted on a sturdy with y-based
a mix of letters written across the page, tokens approach/Colla
or any small object that can be used to mark the borative

Procedure:
1. Write several lowercase and
uppercase letters across a page of
bondpaper or construction paper. If
the target letter is Mm, there should
be more Mm’s on the board than other
letters you will write. Mount your
paper on a sturdy board and produce
a sound everytime you find the letter Constructivist

directly on a folder or board.
2. Ask children to locate the target letter
on the board. Have them count how
many target letters they were able to
spot.
3. For every letter that they spot, have
them put a token on top of it.

Procedure:
1. Each learner gets a sheet of paper
filled with different dotted letters in
upper and lowercase.
2. Learners look for and trace the upper
case and lowercase letter Mm that
they find.
