CONTENT OF LESSON

Roman Figures are seven letters of English alphabet i.e

I - means 1 ( one)

V - means 5 (five)

X - means 10 (ten)

L - means 50 (fifty)

C - means 100 (hundred)

D - means 500 (five hundred)

C - means 1000 (one thousand)

Other numbers can be formed from this seven alphabets e.g C+C (200) two hundred

X-I = IX i.e 10-1 = 9 (nine)

L-X = XL i.e 50-10 = 40 (forty)

D-C = CD i.e 500-100 = 400 (four hundred)

A. Relative Clauses shows the agent or pupils to the doer of a sentence or clause e.g

1. I spoke to the boy who won the prize.

2. A hoe is a tool which farmer use.

3. A poet is someone that writes poem.

B. Differences between normal clause and relative clause.

1. The car that he is driving is not his (relative clause).

The car he is driving is not his (normal clause).


2. I have seen the boy who stole your pen (relative clause).

I saw the boy,he stole your pen (normal clause).

B. Nutrition of animals depends on ready made food either plants or animals.

C. Herbivores are animals that eat only plants. Some however feed on other animals, these categories of
animals is being refered to as Carnivores.

D. Omnivores feeds on both plants and animals.

The process of changing culture and things to be changed are:

1. Language: A person that changes the location geographically will change the language e.g Hausa, Igbo,
Yoruba, Efik etc.

2. Education: A person that was an illiterate will change after going to school to acquire more
knowledge.

3. Dressing: A child's dressing will change at the teenage and adult stage or an Igbo that marries a
Yoruba will change her dressing.

4. Greetings: The modes of greeting in Hausa land is changed when the person moves or stays in Yoruba
land.

5. Customs: The customs of an Igbo man is different from the marriage customs of Yoruba,so they must
change to live in peace.

1. Mainframe computer: they are very large computers with big monitors which shows or brings out

2. Mini frame computer: they are normal computer with average frame monitors and are mostly found

3. Micro computer: these are smaller size computers and are portable and can be carried around e.g
laptops, phones etc.

Classification of computer by generations

1. 1st generation: with vacuum tubes.

2. 2nd generation: with transistor.

3. 3rd generation: with integrated circuit.
