I am writing to express my keen interest in the Freelance Medical Writer position, as advertised on
Upwork. With my strong background in medical research, I believe I am well-suited for this role and
can make a valuable contribution to your team.

As a fourth-year medical student at Istanbul Medipol University, the highest ranked medical school in
Turkey, I have developed a solid foundation in medical knowledge and research methodologies. Over
the past three years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with international cancer research
groups, allowing me to gain valuable insights and experience in the field.

I am proud to have co-authored an article with my lab, which was published in Cells(IF:7.6) (DOI:
10.3390/cells11030465). In addition, I have submitted several articles to reputable scientific journals,
including my most recent work with my summer internship lab at LMU, which is currently under
review by the Journal of Biomedical Sciences (IF 12.77). Furthermore, I have contributed to the third
edition of the well-known medical textbook, Infections and Autoimmunity, by writing the "Parvovirus
B19 and Autoimmunity" chapter in collaboration with the Infectious Diseases Department of my
medical school.

My extensive clinical rotations, including pediatrics, internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, and
obstetrics and gynecology, have provided me with theoretical knowledge and practical competency
in these fields. This comprehensive exposure has honed my ability to understand complex medical
concepts and effectively communicate them to diverse audiences.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I am dedicated to sharing knowledge and fostering a passion for
science. In my spare time, I voluntarily teach Microbiology and Genetic Engineering courses to high
school students preparing for international science olympiads. This experience has enhanced my
communication skills and refined my ability to present scientific information in a clear and engaging
manner.
