MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION
1.Name: The society shall be known as Aravinda Viniyogadarula Sankshema Sangham. East
Madhavaram, A. konduru mandal, krishna district, Andhra Pradesh
Registered Office: The registered office of the Society shall be at: East Madhavaram,
A.konduru mandal, krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.
2.Aims: This Society is an Independent, Autonomous, Non-profit oriented and Non-political
body.
the aims and objects are to increase the awareness of Consumers and the Consumers
opinions and representations.
3.Functions: The society shall base its work on the consumer Rights and responsibilities for
promoting and protecting the consumer’s interest. The right to basic needs, safety, choice of
information, representation, redressal, consumer education and a healthy environment and
the responsibility to promote critical awareness, involvement, social concern, environmental
awareness and solidarity shall form the framework for the activities of the society.
ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION
1. RULES & REGULATIONS:
1.Name of the Organization: Aravinda Viniyogadarula Sankshema sangham.
2.Address: East Madhavaram, A.konduru Mandal, krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.
3.Membership: The membership fee shall be Rs. 100/- per Year and it will be Renewable at
the end of each year.
4. General Body: The general body meeting shall be conducted at the end of December
month of each year.
5.Donors: The society shall receive Donations from persons, Institutions subscribing to the
objectives of the society.
6. Executive Committee meeting:
This Executive Body meeting shall be conducted by 7 members viz president,
vice-president, secretary, joint secretary, treasurer and two members.
1. This executive body meeting shall have to be conducted once in a month.
2. These Executive members shall hole the office for a period of 5 years.
3. Quorum for this meeting shall 1/3rd of members.
4. All the Executive body members are to be informed about this Executive Body meeting at
least 3 days in advance.
5. In case the Quorum is not completed for two times, the third meeting shall be conducted
irrespective of quorum.
6. The executive body members who shall not attend the Executive Body meeting without
any proper reason, continuously for three times shall be removed from the body.
7. Executive Body, Its Powers and Responsibilities:
(A) PRESIDENT:
1) President shall preside over the General Body Meeting and Executive Body meeting.
2) The President deserves right of utilizing casting Power.
3) The president shall take care of the Properties of this Society.
4) The president shall have the responsibility of issuing Notices to the members in time for
attending the Emergency Meetings, if any
(B) VICE PRESIDENT:
1) The vice president shall act as President in the absence of president.
(C) SECRETARY:
1) He shall maintain the Records of the Society, such as Minutes Book, Accounts etc., in a
proper way.
2) Shall take the responsibility of executing the aims and objects of the Society
3) Shall submit a Report on the agenda discussed in the Executive Body meetings.
(D) JOINT-SECRETARY:
1) He shall act as Secretary in the absence of Secretary.
2) he shall assist the Secretary in performing his duties
(E) TREASURER:
1) The Treasurer shall have the responsibility of depositing the amounts received by this
Society in the manner of Donations and membership Fees etc., into the INDIAN BANK,
VISSANNAPETA, KRISHNA DISTRICT.
2)He shall have the responsibility of maintaining proper accounts of the Funds and Assets
and Liabilities of Society.
3)The treasurer shall have to assist the President in all respects.
8)Bank Account: The bank Account shall be operated with the joint signatures of the
President and either Secretary or Treasurer.
9)Audit: All the financial transactions of this Society shall have to be audited by the Auditor
appointed by this Society.
10)Funds: The funds of this Society shall be utilized only for the purpose of achievement of
the aims and objects of this society, but the same shall not be paid to any of its members
either directly or indirectly.
11)Amendments, Additions & Alterations to the Constitution: If there are any additions or
alterations in the Rules & Regulations of this Society, the same shall have to be discussed in
the pre-arranged General Body meeting and shall have to, be decided in the next specially
arranged General body Meeting with consent of 3/5 of the Members.
12)Dissolution of the society: In case if this Society deserves cancellation, due to any
unavoidable circumstances, all the assets of this Society after adjustments shall have to be
transferred to any other Society or Organization which would function with the same aims
and objects that of this Society , but shall not be claimed by member in any manner.
